We very much enjoyed our time at Arrowhead! The house was updated and cozy. We stayed for more than a month and the owners accommodated all of our family members including the furry ones! We loved the walking aspect a lot! With a park, library, restaurants and more within walking distance it was very easy to load the kids in the wagon and enjoy the weather.
The property is SO cute!! They really paid attention to design details and small comforts. Our family (2 adults and 3 kids) came to stay for 2 nights and liked the house and location so much we added another night! Walk to super cute downtown Greendale or about a 20 minute drive to all the great things around Milwaukee! We will definitely be back!
This house was located only a few minutes away from the church and reception venue for a wedding our group was a part of. The place was decorated very nicely and included many amenities, though much of the furniture was not very comfortable. However, the beds were and we got a great night's rest!
The laidback and beautiful historic town of Greendale was a breath of fresh air. The whole area was extremely walkable with access to restaurants, coffee, bars, grocery stores, and much more. If you want to live the historic village there is a mall within 3 minuets. The home was clean, spacious, updated, but you could still feel the charm and history of the 1930s construction. The home had all amenities needed.
This property is located in a safe, walkable community close to downtown Milwaukee and the lakefront. We were able to walk to Greendale shops and nice restaurants. The house has all newer dishes and bakeware. The back patio is quiet and comfortable. One note: the bathroom is nice and recently remodeled but is on the 2nd floor if elderly people have trouble climbing stairs. I would definitely book the house again when we need a place to stay in the Milwaukee area.
Delightful, walkable neighborhood-Sat farmers market, many restaurants and shops. Home exterior needs some TLC, I had to clean front porch, but nice to have screened area. Interior was nicely updated and clean with plenty of supplies. Large laundry. Bedrooms and bath are upstairs and were comfortable and roomy. I suggest replacing Living Room seating - couch springs broken so could not use. And side chairs well worn, not comfy.Wifi/Roku good. RoomAC units helped with humidity.
3rd bedroom should have a twin bed and not thin folding couch that is extremely uncomfortable for anyone to sleep in. It actually falls over when sleeping on it.
