Great place to stay and only 40 minutes to Yosemite! After a long day hiking, it was awesome to come “home” and sit on the front deck and listen and watch all the different birds and relax in privacy. It was super clean, comfortable and spacious and close to some good restaurants in Mariposa. Would absolutely stay again!
Great location and stunning property. Stayed here and visited Yosemite. Excellent facilities and a relax in the hot tub was just perfect. Would highly recommend this property
The house is about 30 min from Yosemite's El Portal Rd (Arch Rock) entrance. It was a very well appointed, comfortable, clean house in a nice neighborhood. We would certainly stay there again when visiting the area.
Excellent location and house. We were here for Yosemite and this was a great base of operations for the humans. We had some questions once we got there and the response was immediate while everything else was clearly communicated by the owners either in communications prior to the stay and on site. Would stay again in a second. Thank you!
We loved our stay at the Midpines House. The house has everything you need in the kitchen, the beds are comfy and supportive, and there are thoughtful touches throughout. We loved having our evening meal and wine on the deck with the cute Solar lights. It was a good basecamp for the Arched Rock entrance to Yosemite. We went to Mariposa Grove as well. The hot tub was great after a day of hiking. We hope to come back!
We enjoy staying at the bungalow, it is clean and have well equipped kitchen .The property is close to the entrance to the national park .will recomnend to friends
Yosemite was the last National Park on our family’s 3 week trip out west, and the cabin was a great place to conclude our trip. Great accommodations, and easy access to Yosemite and to Mariposa. Owners provide great instructions and details on the property and surrounding areas, would definitely stay again if in the area.
Great base to return to after a day of hiking in the park!

WONDERFUL stay. This house has everything you need. We stayed here for the proximity to Yosemite and ended up staying at the house one day instead so we could enjoy it. It is a destination in itself and we can't wait to return.
This was a great getaway spot, the location is amazing!! So close to Yosemite and downtown. The house has a great vibe and completely stocked. The host really hosted us, thank you!! Oh and I also really appreciated the recommendations of things to do around the area. I would stay here again.
Owners have spent a lot of time to give you all the little things that make the stay, nice. We didn'stay long enough to do all the things they have to do around their place. Thank you for a nice stay
Awesome property. We’re welcomed by a buck and a baby deer. Great location , good value, comfortable , clean, would stay here again. Nine large turkeys out our back door as we left .
We are a family of 4 and this property was perfect for us and exploring Yosemite.

Why they chose this property
We love being close to the charming mountain town of Mariposa with all the shopping and dining options you could want, while still being just minutes from Yosemite National Park. our wooded acres are so peaceful and quiet. We regularly enjoy wild turkeys, white tail deer, quail and even the occasional California Black Bear. We also have a seasonal creek during the winter if we've had good rainfall, and we get a few pretty snows every year.
What makes this property unique
Enjoy our beautiful decks for your morning coffee or a special meal with friends or family. Have a soak in our jetted hot tub after a beautiful day exploring Yosemite, or nap in our hammocks enjoying the sounds of the forest. We also have both a traditional firepit for guests to enjoy late fall through early spring when wildfire danger is low. During the warmer months, guests can enjoy our charming gas firepit which is safe to use anytime of year. Our home is well stocked with everything you might need and is beautifully appointed, clean and cozy. Come and make wonderful memories soon!
