About this property
Yosemite Pines Retreat – Mini Ponies, Huge Yard, Spa, Pool & Play Area!
Welcome to Yosemite Pines Retreat in the Woods
Come play, unwind, and explore Yosemite—all while staying at this peaceful, ranch-style mountain retreat.
Nestled among towering, 100+ year-old ponderosa pines, Yosemite Pines Retreat offers a serene setting perfect for reconnecting with nature and loved ones. Whether you’re planning a fun family getaway or a romantic escape, this property has something for everyone.
Nature, Play & Relaxation All in One Place
Enjoy visits from deer, bunnies, and wild turkeys as you sip your morning coffee. Relax in the heavenly garden, gather around the fire pit for s’mores under a sky full of stars, take a dip in the above-ground pool (open May–September), soak in the spa, or challenge your group to a lively game of ping-pong or horseshoes.
For the little ones, there’s a custom two-story playhouse complete with swings, a slide, and a climbing wall (110 lb weight limit). And yes — there are miniature ponies! Friendly and gentle, they live just steps from the house and love visitors.
Comfortable Living for Groups or Couples
The home features 1,600 sq. ft. of living space with 3 spacious bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and a fully equipped laundry room. It comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests.
Inside, you’ll find all the essentials: linens, towels, paper products, soaps, and cleaning supplies. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking and dining, and the dining table seats eight comfortably for shared meals and conversation.
Perfectly Located for Yosemite Adventures
Yosemite Pines Retreat is your gateway to adventure:
• 37 miles to Yosemite’s Arch Rock Entrance (via Hwy 140) — our recommended route to the Valley Floor
• 33 miles to the South Gate entrance (Hwy 41)
• 30 minutes to Bass Lake — perfect for fishing, boating, water sports, and warm summer swims
• 15 minutes to downtown Mariposa and 20 minutes to Oakhurst
• Less than 1 mile from a local diner, convenience store, and gas station
You can hike Yosemite’s iconic trails (including Half Dome), go white-water rafting on the Merced River, fish, bike, or explore nearby museums, galleries, and live music at the Mariposa Art Park in summer.
Whether you’re chasing adventure or relaxation, Yosemite Pines Retreat is a quiet haven that brings you close to it all—while offering peace, privacy, and plenty of charm.
