About this property

Well appointed, kid friendly beach house ready to host multiple families. Located two blocks from Lakeside Park on gorgeous Lake Chautauqua, this house is right in the middle of it all - fishing, hiking, kayaking, dining, swimming, skiing, etc.

The house is located in the heart of the town of Mayville, walking distance to shops, groceries, restaurants, bars, and of course the lake. There is a public boat dock and a kayak/boat rental shop right at the end of our street. The Chautauqua Institute is a five minute drive. Various destinations such as Bemus Point, Jamestown, Peek'n Peak, and Erie PA are all a short drive.

There is space for multiple families to stay - the master bedroom has a queen bed, second bedroom has a full bed with a twin above it. The second floor has a twin bed, a futon, a large sleeper bean bag, and plenty of space to set up any air mattresses or cots you may need. Washer and dryer in the basement are available for guest use. The kitchen is ready for any and all meal prep - oven, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, air fryer, coffee maker, etc.

There is a huge backyard with a fire pit for quiet nights at home, a tree swing, hammock, and plenty of lawn games for the kids.

Great Family Rental

We stayed here for the solar eclipse and it had everything our family needed from toys for the little ones, to board games for the adults. Perfect for our needs.

Fantastic family stay

We traveled for a family getaway to Lake Chautauqua area with 3 generations. This house was perfect for kids, parents, and grandparents. It was very clean, well appointed, and in a great location to enjoy the Chautauqua area. My little guy especially enjoyed toys to play with while away from home. My family would definitely recommend this home for traveling families.

Perfect Chautauqua Stay!

The house was clean, perfect location, and well equipped. The house fit our group of 4 adults and 3 young children perfectly. The house was well equipped with everything our family needed - the kids especially loved the toys and games! We walked to breakfast, the beach, park, ice cream and quick drive to the Institution and exploring the area. The hosts were very easy to get in touch with. Check in was seamless. Already looking at dates for next year!

Short stay close to the lake

A comfortable, clean cape, pictures were exactly what the house was in reality. A huge backyard and fire pit was nice for time outside. A close drive/walk to the water, shops, and Chautauqua Institute.
