Hike right from your front door to experience the Sierra Nevada forest, Musick Creek, and beyond! Shaver themed 4 bedroom log cabin minutes to downtown, restaurants, and the lake! Downstairs, cozy up around the fireplace or hang out on the deck overlooking the forest! The kitchen is fully stocked and ready for your family to cook meals and gather around the table. Upstairs, retreat to 4 spacious bedrooms, including a master suite with soaking tub for after a long day at the lake! 5 star cabin!
The Space
Gorgeous log cabin overlooking towering pines off the spacious back deck! Each of the four bedrooms upstairs has a special Shaver Lake theme. You'll find the fishing room, bear room, deer room, and luxurious master bedroom with pine bed and spa-like en suite where you can soak in the tub after a long day of hiking, or throw all the kids in after a day at the lake. Perfect for families, the cabin features a comfy living space downstairs with plenty of games and space to spread out. The kitchen is equipped to cook all your meals from the comfort of home while taking in the beautiful view through the large back windows and glass french doors. We can only imagine how cozy it will be during the winter time to curl up by the fireplace and watch the snow fall! Four bedrooms, three full bathrooms, the cabin is perfect for a large family or two small families, a few couples traveling together, or a girls' weekend trip. This is NOT a cabin for parties or large/loud gatherings. As you can see from the pictures, we have neighbors on either side of us.
Guest Access
Easily access the lake- just a quick turn onto Tollhouse Rd will take you straight to the lake. Minutes to restaurants, groceries, and shops. Guests have access to the entire cabin, garage, free Wifi, street parking if necessary, free washer and dryer located in the cabin, and community dumpster if needed (trash disposal can be an issue in Shaver, so it's nice to have the community dumpster available).
Things to Note
This is a large cabin and a great space for families or couples traveling together. This is NOT the space for parties or large, loud gatherings of any kind. We have neighbors on both sides of the cabin, though there are no neighbors behind, allowing for amazing views off the back deck!
In the winter, guests will likely need 4WD and/or tire chains to navigate the snowy/icy roads, even though they are plowed. The deck may not be available right after a snow storm (it will be covered in snow).
All hiking trails, lake activities, etc., are done at your own risk. There are wild animals including bears, mountain lions, deer, and other animals that call Shaver Lake home. Please keep an eye on children and don't leave trash or food outside.
Neighborhood
This large log cabin is located in Village Pass, a favorite Shaver Lake neighborhood. It is one of about 15 cabins in the area, creating the safe and cozy feeling of knowing there are other humans around, while still allowing you to admire uninterrupted forest views off the expansive deck. Known for its spacious rooms, soaring high ceilings, and modern amenities, this cabins is a family favorite! During the winter there's just enough snow to play in, while the flat and easily accessible streets are promptly plowed. Garage, central heating, and fireplace make it very popular in the winter! In the summer, hang out on the back deck and enjoy the gorgeous pine views, or drive just a few minutes into town and to the lake. Many nearby trails will lead you to creeks and beautiful vistas. This cabin is easy to find, easy to park, and offers a feeling of safety with other cabins nearby.

House Rules
1. Communication is key! All guests must download and use the Airbnb App for communication. You'll receive check-in and check-out information through the app. Check in after 4pm. Check out by 11am. Our office hours are between 8am-9pm, please communicate between those hours.
2. Honesty is the best Policy! Add all guests to the reservation. Maximum Occupancy is 9 total individuals. Pets are allowed. ALL animals require a one-time pet fee of $100. 2 dogs max. Guests are responsible to clean up after their pets. Extra guest fee after 4 guests ($20/guest/night)
3. No parties! No smoking of any kind inside the home. Removal of smoke detectors is illegal. If you choose to smoke outside, dispose of your butts appropriately. Absolutely no parties or large, loud gatherings at this property. Loud music, excessive rowdiness, excessive drinking or smoking, etc. will result in a $1,000 party fine. Quiet hours are from 10pm to 7am.
4. Be respectful! When using outdoor areas (deck, bbq, yard games, etc.), please clean up after yourself so the next guest can enjoy it as well. If something is wrong, low, or out, please let us know so we can fix it. Never leave trash outside, it attracts birds and other animals that make a mess.
5. Have fun! Our goal is to host a vacation to remember. If you don't agree with our above rules, this is NOT the house for you, please find a home that better fits your needs and we'll all be happier! With the exception of things out of our control, we'll always do our best to make sure you have the best time!
6. BE A GOOD SHAVER NEIGHBOR! Guests must pack out their trash during this time of high bear traffic. We have a big trash problem in Shaver, and an even bigger bear problem (they love to eat the trash left behind). There are typically dumpsters at the Sierra Marina during peak season, and at the dump station on Friday and Saturday from 10am-3pm at 42089 Dinkey Creek Road. If you can’t pack out your trash, tie it up tight and never leave it outside.
