Enjoy the best amenities of cabin life while only steps from the conveniences of town at this charming cabin in the heart of East Village, Shaver Lake. Large wraparound deck with gas grill for gatherings or outdoor games. Open kitchen ready for cooking vacation meals with your choice of indoor or outdoor dining. The living room gas fireplace offers the perfect backdrop for game nights, movies, or fireside chats. Three spacious bedrooms offer rest and privacy for the whole family.

We welcome your pets at the Aspen Escape! Our pet fee is a non-refundable $50 per stay. Unfortunately, we are unable to include this fee in the initial payment estimate presented by VRBO, so the charge will occur separately within 48 hours of booking for any bookings including pets. Please let us know if you have any questions!

The home was just perfect. We had our doggies with us and there was a enclosed deck, which made it so convenient to have our dogs outside enjoying nature. The house was comfortable clean and had everything we needed.

Aspen Escape

This cabin was spacious and very clean. It was so quiet at night and being able to hangout on the deck at night to watch the stars was awesome. The host was very responsive and we throughly enjoyed our stay. We are looking forward to spending time at the cabin again.

Property was conveniently located in town. Easy check in. Unfortunately cabin needed a more thorough cleaning. Floors and bathroom was dirty. Trash (several days old) from cabin’s outside trash cans was in driveway and neighboring property.

Close to lake and places to eat

We had a wonderful time in the Aspen Escape. We came during a hot week, so it was hot in the house. The house has plenty of room for 8 people and we could bring our dog. There is space for a boat and trailer which is great. You are within walking distance of Dorabella campground and all the restaurants in town. We would stay there again.

Aspen Escape was great!

The location of the property is right in the heart of town near most restaurants. We came up after a big snowstorm and our host graciously moved our arrival day and departure day to avoid the worst travel day in snow. The place is very comfortable and capable of hosting two families very easily. We didn’t do much cooking but the place is stocked with the basics you would need for your stay. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. Our host, Ryan, was thoughtful and thorough in all communication.

Amazing Summer Stay

Aspen Escape was the perfect little cabin! The location was perfect with just a quick walk to the town center and minutes from the Shaver Lake Boat Ramps. Although we were there doing a heat wave the cabin was super comfortable and was perfect for 3 families with 3 bedrooms that were spaced perfectly around the house giving everyone privacy. The most underrated part of this rental was the parking. We fit 3 trucks and a boat / trailer and could have fit at least 3 more. If you have the toys this has the parking for it. There is also a sweet little fire pit outside for some stars and s’mores. We will definitely be coming back!

Shaver Lake is our happy place! We love the plentiful outdoor activities in the summer and the snow sports in the winter. The town has some of our favorite hangout spots and still has shopping for forgotten items or souvenirs.

We love being able to walk into town for a bite to eat or a little shopping, but still have the option for family games on the deck or movie nights in.
