Peaceful Country Home Nestled in the Woods

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful home nestled in the woods of the Texas Hill Country. You'll have over 5 acres of fully-fenced privacy. Enjoy rustic life or take a one-hour drive to Austin or San Antonio. Wimberley, New Braunfels, and San Marcos are only 30 minutes away.

The house is fully furnished and comes with everything you need to enjoy a weekend getaway or a longer stay. The entire house and property were recently renovated.

Please note one security camera is located on each side of the property for a total of four (4).

**There are pet fees and rules. VRBO can only automatically charge a pet fee for one pet per night, but a pet fee per pet does apply. If you bring more than one pet, you will be charged an additional $40 per night for the additional pet outside of the booking amount. A maximum of two pets are allowed.**

We enjoyed our time here! House was very clean and has everything you need! The porches were great to relax on. We enjoyed the fire pit making s’mores and roasting marshmallows! The house was very quiet and peaceful. The couch in the living room was very comfortable! We would definitely stay here again. Very nice secluded and quiet place to stay!

Perfect Quite Getaway

This is my second time staying at this property and it was just as relaxing as the first. We love that it is such a quiet retreat from the city to recharge. The host had great communication and the space was well prepared and clean. I definitely plan to return to this space again.

It was all good, no complaints. The house was clean and comfortable and well equipped for an extended stay. We especially liked the roomy and multi head shower in the master bath. The house is out in the country and away for it all, which is what we were looking for. I would stay there again.

Peaceful and serene

We were in town to move my son out of the dorms at Texas State. Kamesh's place was perfect for our needs. We enjoyed the spacious and clean living spaces and appreciated how well stocked the house was. The house sits on a large wooded property and we loved taking our dog on walks around the neighborhood. Quiet and secluded.

This host went above and beyond to help me secure this property for the dates that I was looking for. I can not say enough about about how helpful Kamesh was. Great little getaway

Property was super clean. I recommend bringing an extra blanket if you're cold-natured. We stayed in the 2nd bedroom and it was nice but the mattress wasn't really suited to adults. Its perfect for teenagers or kids though.

This house was perfect for us and our dogs. We were able to walk the neighborhood in the mornings and saw plenty of wildlife. The house is clean and spacious, with so much room in the kitchen. I grew up in Austin and have lived in many parts of the United States as well as a few foreign countries. I live in Houston and enjoy owning real estate in Texas.

Why they chose this property

The main attraction is you will have over 5 fully-fenced acres to yourself. While in and around the house and on the porches, you won't be able to see the neighbors and they won't be able to see you. No guests other than those in your group will be on the property during your stay. The Hosts will also not be on the property during your stay.

What makes this property unique

The house has a large combined kitchen and living room area and two bedrooms and two bathrooms available for guests. The kitchen is large and spacious and allows for easily cooking meals. There is a wood-burning fireplace in the living room. Two covered porches the entire length of the house allow you to enjoy the outdoors while eating or just having a drink. A charcoal grill and outdoor dining furniture are provided as well as a fire pit.

The master bedroom has a queen bed and attached bathroom (en suite) with a large tiled shower area and a double sink vanity. The second bathroom has a tub with a shower. The second bedroom also has a queen bed.

Need to do laundry? No problem. There is a laundry room attached to the kitchen with a new washer and dryer. Detergent is supplied for two loads of laundry.

Tired of staying inside? Take a stress-relieving walk on the fully-fenced five acres.

The entire house was renovated in 2021 including but not limited to:
1. New interior and exterior paint including trim, kitchen cabinets, and ceilings.
2. New quartz kitchen countertops.
3. New faucets and light fixtures.
4. New master bathroom vanity.
5. New furniture in one room and new outdoor furniture.
6. New shades in the bedrooms and bathrooms.

The kitchen is great for cooking with a large island and many new small appliances including an excellent coffee maker, a blender, and a versatile toaster oven/air fryer. A water softener along with a reverse-osmosis filter produces great tasting water for your coffee, tea, cooking, and drinking.

Water is provided from an on-site private well. The water is softened and further filtered for drinking. Wastewater is processed by an on-site septic system.

The property has two queen beds and a cot. Guests can also sleep on the couch in the living room which can accommodate one (1) adult and one (1) child.
