Great Experience!

A great home away from home! We came in town to visit parents and kids and grandkids. Great house and yard to entertain. Will be back often!

Family Visit

This house is stunning! All rooms are extra large and beautifully furnished in keeping with the mid-century design. The view through the multiple rear windows was breathtaking with the long view of the river and the many trees reflected in the water -- photos of the view are jigsaw puzzle quality. Inside, our hostess provided many extras, such as benches in each bedroom to conveniently hold luggage. We are three sisters with our husbands and there was plenty of spaces for private conversations or for larger gatherings. With the owner's permission, we enjoyed inviting additional family members to join us for drinks and snacks one evening and the house became the star. Next time we visit this area, we will definitely try to book this house again.

Beautiful memories

We loved the house the only thing with elderly it needs safety bars for both bathrooms and raised toilet seats!! Other than that it was very spacious and well accommodated!! Thanks for the memories we will be back!! ❤️

Beautiful oasis with flaws

Beautiful house, has great potential. Beware owners live next door and are nosey. My daughter just graduated nursing school and had friends (4) over on Friday night to swim. Next morning I had a text with noise complaint after advising the owner (who came over unannounced) she would have friends over to swim. It was also assumed I would let them drink and drive which would never happen on my watch. As said, just disappointed.

Moved home to Louisiana in 2014, home to my roots. Found a beautiful place on the water where bird life and the verdant greens of Louisiana. Cypress trees, red-ear turtles, wild ducks, egrets and herons are my peaceful entertainment.

This vacation home is so similar to my home and will give you an experience of the joy of Louisiana. If you pause outdoors on a summer evening, you will hear the symphony of tree frogs and bullfrogs. In cooler months, sit by the fire pit and make s'mores. It is a great place for visiting relatives and friends or to have a home away from home for a little while.
