A great option in Terre Haute

The house was just as described, which fit our needs perfectly in a busy area where it’s sometimes tough to find nice lodging. The host provided instructions promptly and communicated kindly and efficiently, would definitely recommend and book if future need arose!

Just right

Needed a clean place in a nice neighborhood to stay during a weekend. It is just as described and communication with the host was great. I think this is a great find for the general area and hope to stay here again soon.

Nice house, great location

Comfy house in Terre Haute. Nicely renovated, but still an older house, so if you’re only used to houses built in the last 10 years, know to expect some creaking floors and other things that come with an older house. Communication with the owner was great, very responsive. The location was phenomenal, minutes from everything in Terre Haute and , most importantly, only a couple of miles from my aunt whom we had gone to visit. So much nicer and closer than staying at a hotel.

This was our first trip to Terre Haute, so we relied heavily on the listing description when choosing where to stay. The property mentioned being located in a quiet neighborhood, but we didn’t realize there is a very busy railroad nearby. Trains passed frequently throughout the night and blew their horns every 20–40 minutes. Since we’re not used to that level of noise, it made it very difficult for us to sleep. It would be helpful if the proximity to the railroad were mentioned in the listing, as it could be an important factor for some guests. The house itself is older and shows signs of wear, though we could see that the owner has made some renovations, which was a nice improvement.

We’ve been using Vrbo for 20 years. This is the absolute worst and most disgusting place we’ve ever rented. The place was filthy with bugs and dirt everywhere along with rodents in the home. The contents of the rental was not as pictured, or promised, the place was absolutely filthy, and we had to leave early as we were disgusted by the condition of the rental. The renters were not accommodating and did not take our videos, pictures, and descriptions of how filthy the place was seriously. Sad that this is even available for rental. It was so disgusting. There was not a door on the bathroom just a curtain that didn’t even cover the opening and paint was peeling from many areas in the rental. I would love to attach a video to show the abundant bug spiderwebs and dirt that was everywhere but that is not an option. I did attach a few pictures including a hole by the door, where the rodents comes in and out. Do not rent this place or from this organization. The contact on the communications was circle, City investments.
