THE SPACE
This spacious historical home is a unique architectural piece of local history, offering a comfortable and classic layout for families and groups. With large communal spaces and plenty of room to spread out, it serves as a great home base for enjoying San Antonio.

The Layout: The home is arranged over two levels to provide a clear separation between common areas and quiet spaces.

Upper Level: This floor contains four bedrooms and two full bathrooms.

Main Level: The ground floor features two large living rooms and two dining rooms, providing ample space for gathering. The kitchen is fully equipped with high-quality appliances for home-cooked meals. There is also a convenient half-bath on this level.

Guest Access & Occupancy: The house is permitted for a maximum of 12 guests. You will have full, private access to the entire main home and the backyard area, which includes the pool, hot tub, and patio seating.

The host was quick to respond.Note: bedroom 2 is inside bedroom 1. Also, bedroom 5 is in a mother in law suite, it’s not attached to the house (along with the futon. Futon on bottom floor, and stairs to bedroom 5 are outside). Love the architecture of the home, unfortunately for us there was a big problem with flies for some reason. We killed at least 100 flies per day. The host did sent a couple of fly traps, but there has to be an issue somewhere that needs maintenance because every day we killed all the flies and the same amount were back inside the next day. The host did say pest services would be called, we’re confident that problem will be addressed.

House was great for our large group. Was definitely historic, so be prepared for small things like creaky windows doors, etc. we had some issues w the pool but the host was quick to find a solution and even offered a treat for our inconvenience.

Great Trip!

Our family enjoyed our 4 night stay! Great location to the Alamo, Riverwalk and the Quarry. Beautiful and comfortable home, great for a family like ours or a group!

We had a good stay. This is an older home in a great location. I feel it’s fairly well maintained and has a lot of historical vibes. I would probably stay here again. The house was large had plenty of space.

San Antonio Spring Break

This is a super cool Spanish house from the 30s with many modern amenities. It has the charm of an older house but the feel of a remodeled/more recent house. The owners were extremely accommodating and responsive throughout the booking process and our stay. We had a great time and enjoyed our stay!

Great place to stay for a trip

The house is very nicely located so that most things to do in San Antonio are a 10-15 minute drive away. The hosts are very quick to respond to messages and very nice. Over all is was a good experience for my family.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was close to the Riverwalk and made it super easy to get to all the things we wanted to do. Plenty of space to hang out in the house. Would rent this again when I come back

A Real Spanish Gem

A great property with character to it. The hosts were very informative and responsive, the instructions for the house were clear and well laid out, as well. The location is in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to the interstate to let you move around San Antonio quickly. I would highly recommend it!
