About this property

Come and enjoy our fun and comfortable Lake House on the private 169-acre all sports Little Long Lake! Home is cozy and clean with all brand new furnishings and sleeps 6 with two twin-over-full bunk beds and one queen bed. Fully stocked kitchen and bathroom, laundry, AC, whole home backup generator, high-speed internet, and Roku 65" smart television with sound bar.

Outside enjoy stunning sunsets from several different seating areas, wildlife, and over 200 feet of frontage on a large 1.2 acre lot. You can choose between a gas grill or a charcoal grill and enjoy s'mores at the primary fire pit or bring the portable fire pit closer to the lake. Little Long Lake is known for its fishing, so be sure to cast some lines from the large composite dock or bring your ice fishing gear in the winter. Explore the lake with the pedal boat or the four kayaks with flotation devices that we provide! Feel free to park up to two vehicles in the garage.

Minutes from popular dining, the Gilmore Car Museum, and shopping. 25 minutes Downtown Kalamazoo and 30 minutes to Gun Lake Casino.

For the comfort of our guests we have a professional service spray for mosquitoes, fleas, and ticks from April to November.

For security purposes there is a ring doorbell camera and a camera overlooking the driveway. We value the privacy of our guests and there are no other cameras at the property.

Please be aware that our property is on the lake side of the road only. There is a large garage/pole barn across the street that looks identical to our home in color and design, however it is not part of our property. Please do not enter onto any part of that property.

Great house to stay in.

Everything you need in the home. Very clean and tidy . Lake was not really passable , due to the “Grasses ~Lilly pad Thickness “

Peaceful

This little lake cottage was beautifully decorated and had everything we could have wanted for a nice peaceful vacation. The location is perfect just a quick 15 min drive to grocer and 30 mins to Kalamazoo. Asa and Chelsea were great hosts and very quick to respond to our messages. The queen bed was a little too soft for us but other than that we loved our stay. We will definitely consider for our next trip to the mitten.

Summer Vacation!!

The Little Long lake house was a great place to stay. Location, for us, was perfect for our activities with family and Friends. Asa and Chelsea truly are wonderful hosts. They really have thought of everything for a vacationing family to relax and enjoy. From the little things, like, stuff to make S’mores over one of the 2 fire pits, too a stocked coffee selection and a printed inventory of what’s in each of the cabinets. Plenty of storage and closet space. Even though we chose to stay at a lake house we do not stay here for any lake activities. From what we saw on the lake, Little long lake is a great fishing or kayaking lake. Not much of a recreation lake. So we did not use any of the water crafts here. The view and serenity were more than enough for us. The hosts provided a simple check in and check out procedure. The house was very well appointed, with a great layout and plenty of places to spread out…you could even take a nap on the patio. Which was a little more comfortable than the queen bed. We also enjoyed using one of the 2 grills available (gas or charcoal) and eating on the outside patio with family. We did discover one bath was some work for us traveling with a teenager. But we made worked it out. We would certainly stay here again. Hope to again next time we are in Michigan. Thank you for Chelsea and Asa for allowing us to stay!

Nice location but not great lake

Location served our purposes and the fire pit and tree swing made up for the inability to swim or use the paddle boat. Terrible mattress on the queen bed, but overall a good stay.

Fun, Fresh and Cozy

Had such a great stay at this cool and cozy lake house! The host always very quick to respond and check in and check out was super simple. Had a great time out on the lake with the kayaks with friends and we all really enjoyed sitting on the patio by the fire pit. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice lake house getaway!

We both grew up in the area and have always loved local lakes. When we found this home, we knew it was special! We sure hope you create as many memories as we have.

What makes this property unique

There is a neighbor on only one side of the home making it truly feel like a private retreat. On the other side, there is a large area we call the meadow. This area we left natural for the wildflowers to grow and wildlife to roam. It is far enough away from town that the stars are beautifully bright and clear at night.
