This lakefront home is centrally located between Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, and Lansing with 5 acres of lawn and wooded area along Long Lake with easy access to Bristol Lake.

During the winter months a snowmobile and 8 wheel Argo are available at an additional charge with some ice fishing gear. Most report the best ice fishing on Long Lake is right off the shoreline out the back door. Just stay in the house and watch the tip-ups!

This cottage is a hidden gem!! Plenty of beds and a large living room. Huge back yard gor the pooch! Many extras like robes slippers and chocolates on the bed. Top notch all the way.

Perfect Family Get together

We get a place every year to get together with our adult kids. This place was fantastic. Easy check in process which we all appreciated since we arrived at different times. We cooked most of our meals and the kitchen had everything we needed. The lakes were perfect for boating and swimming. The host was easy to reach and very accommodating. We would highly recommend this property.

Amazing home!

Home was extremely spacious with tons of amenities. Everything you need for an enjoyable, relaxing stay. Special treats were a very nice touch. Even some for our dog! Rob was an amazing host. We can’t wait to return!

Great Location!

We had a wonderful time! 4 adults and 5 children fit with no issues. We were able to enjoy both lakes. Everything we asked for was provided and Rob was very easy to talk to! Would stay again for sure!

Exceeded our expectations

We stayed at this property for our annual family vacation. This place was by far the best house we have ever rented through vrbo. The host was wonderful and very accommodating. The place was stocked so well. There was nothing missing. There was food, soap, asprin, toothbrushes, combs, snacks..... My husband and I both commented about how this house was better than any hotel we ever stayed in. We even had robes and slippers provided. We also rented the pontoon and that process was very smooth. The pontoon was completely ready for us when we wanted to use it. This would definitely be a place we would rent again. Thank you Rob for opening up your place for us to create wonderful memories.

Peace and quiet on the lake

We had an excellent week staying at this house! The house is very well appointed with everything we could have needed and then some. Everything was spotless when we arrived and there were comfortable robes and slippers waiting for us. We had arranged to bring our dog with us and the owner even had treats waiting for her. My husband and I were looking for a peaceful getaway and we definitely found it. There was dock space for our boat, and the owner even took us out on his boat for a tour of the lake to show us where to stay away from with the boat, and some of the fishing spots. We caught bass, and perch during our stay! Battle Creek and Hastings are about 15-20 minutes away for all your shopping needs. If you are looking for a vacation that offers relaxation, this is the place! Looking forward to coming back! PS. The stars are beautiful at night here!

Fantastic stay despite rain

This was a fabulouse house in a quiet area. The house is fully stocked with anything you would need in the kitchen and toiletries if you forget to bring yours. Theres also a nice dollar general 5 min away if you need to buy anything. It was very clean on check in and the beds were comfortable. So many amentities in a great sized yard that our dogs absolutely loved, especially the lake access. It unfortunately rained most of our trip. But if it hadnt we pribably would have barely stayed inside since the patio is so comfortable and the firepit is large. We rented the boat for a reasonable price and Rob gave us a tour of the lake so we knew the logistics of navigating the lake. It unfortunately doesnt have a sand bar or beach, but we had fun anyway. We also went to Mooville and had some delicious ice cream. Rob was absolutely superb witb communication a d hospitality, I definitely reccomend staying here, our group already talked about staying for a longer period next year.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The house and all the amenities were exactly as listed, and Rob made it so easy to just show up and have a good time. Despite the colder weather, we were able to make good use of the large patio, fire pit, and golf cart (which was so handy for my physically limited FIL who wanted to go fishing). The kitchen was well stocked and clean. The bathrooms and bedrooms were also very clean and there were plenty of linens for our family of 6. We also appreciated the useful little extras like travel-sized toiletries and the fun bonuses like the oversized Jenga set.

Great location and house. Had kids and grandkids all together for a long weekend. House had plenty of room for everyone and the yard and deck was great for all kinds of activities. Everyone had a great time on the boat and water. Definitely recommend. All the little touches/amenities that the host adds goes above and beyond to make sure all your accommodations are fulfilled.

Everything we needed was in the house. We had no problem cooking for 8 people. We used the kayaks and life jackets. The 3 year old was beyond belief when he say the fire flys because he had only read about them in books. We had less than a 20 minute drive to visit the rest of the family who was camped out at Custer State Park. Definitely will visit again.

Fun filled family weekend

This was a wonderful home for the family to meetup at and spend a long weekend together.  The spacious backyard, fire pit, and large dining table for playing games provided more than enough room for family activities.  The best offering was the rentable pontoon boat where we could spend the day at will on Bristol Lake cruising, swimming, and tubing. The kids had a blast.  Rob was a great host, easy to communicate with, and made sure we had everything we needed as well as gave us a short tour of the lake to make sure we were familiar with everything.  The home was clean and comfortable, the area quiet and relaxing, and the lake was refreshing and serene.

Great stay

Great place, great host, laid back atmosphere, enough seating for all, even come welcome snacks (which was great because some of us forgot to eat lunch before arriving). We had a family wedding in the area and 10 adults stayed here for two night. It was perfect. It had everything we needed, no need to run out and enough seating we could all be together in the main area. We the weather was warmer so we could have enjoyed the huge gathering area on the deck and the lake. We would rent again.
