About this property

Private RRG Retreat w/ Hot Tub & Game Room

Newly constructed 3 level 4 bdrm cabin in Birch Hollow near Red River Gorge. Situated between Stanton and Slade, you'll have easy access to both supplies & the trails.

The 1st floor entertaining area has a ping pong table, foosball table, multicade, couch with 65" HDTV, 55" HDTV and the private hot tub deck. This floor also has one bedroom with a queen bed, futon couch and a 55" HDTV.

The second floor houses the chef's kitchen, main living room, dining area, 2nd bathroom and two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a King bed, desk with makeup mirror and a 55" HDTV. The second bedroom has a Queen bed, desk with makeup mirror and a 55" HDTV.

The 3rd floor loft is called the treehouse. You'll need to be able to climb a ship ladder to access it. There you will find 2 twin beds and the best views in the cabin.
Guest access. There is a lockable baby gate at the base of the ship ladder to keep little explorers from getting into trouble.

Feel free to roam the property and if you are feeling adventurous, hike up to the bluff above the cabin. Please respect our neighbors and don't park or trespass onto Blues Moon's property.

Other things to note
This cabin is not easily accessible if you have a rear wheel drive automobile. A 4WD or AWD vehicle is suggested in good weather and mandatory in inclement weather.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Lock the doors
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Do NOT park on the grass in front of the cabin. Doing so could seriously damage the septic system.
No more than 8 guests. Additional unauthorized guests will incur a $100 per night additional fee.
Please no smoking inside the house. There 2 decks and a porch to smoke on. Also don't be a litterbug with your butts if you choose to smoke outside

Recently returned from a trip to this property. My family and I were looking for a place to escape and relax and this location is just that. Looked to many local area for hiking, climbing, and sightseeing. Even our dog enjoyed the vacation and the accommodations.The house has all the necessary amenities and Shane was a great host. When eye had any questions he responded quickly and even checked in to see how things were going. The driveway is tricky as noted but once you figure out how to navigate it you will have no issues.Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a place in the area.

Stayed 3 nights, by far the most comfortable rental we’ve ever found in the Red River Gorge area. House has every amenity you’d need, beautiful views and a communicative, helpful host. Would definitely book again.

Weekend Getaway

We have spent the first weekend in November in the RRG for several years and this is by far our favorite place. The host was very helpful and super communicative in regards to the property and the check in. The home is well stocked, nicely decorated, clean and well-maintained. We enjoyed the pool table, hot tub, foosball, and boardgames. All in all a really great stay. I would highly recommend this property and this host for future rentals

Great stay

Had a fantastic time. Just a few things you might want to check. Pool table and foose ball table legs need work. Both vey loose.And the stools by the kitchen counter also loose. I tried to fix but did not have the right tool. We will be coming back. Thanks for the great memories.
