The Klyfta Haus was awesome. Loved the deck, the bridge, the location was great and the host was very good at communicating. My whole family had plenty of room but it was still cozy. We loved it.
This cabin was as advertised and met all of our expectations. It was perfect for our family of 5. All of our children had their own rooms. The hot tub was utilized several times a day throughout our stay. The beds were comfortable and we certainly enjoyed our stay. If I were being picky, the walls are thin and you can hear everything going on throughout the cabin. We would definitely stay here again.
Our family had a great time at Klyfta Haus! Everything was clean, in good working order, and well-equipped. The fire pit was wonderful and we loved being able to walk down to the lake. The beds were very comfortable and the hot tub was great! We’ll be back!
We celebrated Thanksgiving with our family of 7 and had a fantastic time. The cabin gave everyone their own spaces to stay and the main room and kitchen were perfect for all of us together. The fire pit was so nice on cold nights and so was the hot tub. The host was quick and responsive. The cabin is located right next to good trails, so you dont have to go far. I definitely recommend staying here!
This cabin holds a very special place in my heart . If there were anything at all I would change, it would be trimming the trees, so the pond and bridge can be seen from balcony porch

Glad you had a nice stay, thanks for the feedback, we will make it a priority to get the trees trimmed back
Klyfta Haus was a great place to stay with four adults and four kids. The amenities were just as described and the house was clean. We used the hot tub almost every day of our week long visit and slept well in the comfortable beds. Eric the owner was especially easy to work with and responsive to handle anything that came up during our visit. We would highly recommend staying here to enjoy access to the gorge for climbing and hiking.
The property was perfect for our trip. It was a beautiful location with a great view from the spacious back deck. Loved the hot tub, and lit fire pit area. The location was perrfect for walking in the area, and close to several great hiking spots, as well as beautiful drives for the "non-hikers". Eric was a great host, answering all questions and concerns very promptly. Would definitely return!
The property was as expected on arrival and it accommodated my family of 7 perfectly. It was centrally located to all of our planned activities at the Gorge. The kids enjoyed fishing at the pond in our down time and the adults enjoyed the view from the deck. The host was responsive to our needs and made our stay more enjoyable. I would recommend this property to my family and friends planning a trip to the Red River Gorge area.
We had a lovely weekend stay with some friends. We would stay again! The cabin was well stocked and welcoming. The host was quick to answer any questions we had and every thing at the cabin was well taken care of. The kitchen table had plenty of space and seating for all of us, which was lovely because it was the hub of the house for us all weekend. We played games, ate, and generally hung out around the table. There were a couple of things that I would have liked to have known prior to booking. The upstairs bedrooms are a little small. The pillows weren’t great, so I would definitely bring my own. Lastly, while the view at the back of the house is AMAZING, the cabin isn’t quite as secluded as the pictures make it seem. Overall we were very pleased and had so much fun!

Thank you for the review, we're sorry some information was lacking, we're going to update the listing with room dimensions and some additional pictures, it is true in the winter time with the leaves down some neighboring cabins are in view usually during most of the rest of the year it has a more private feel. Glad your group had an amazing time, come stay with us again!
We enjoyed the cabin, location and amenities offered. We were looking for a location near Campton but had the items listed in the description. Checked all the boxes and now have a destination to come to for future family visits. Check-in was simple and bonus came with a J1772 40amp charger, bring your NASC adapter if you have a Tesla. The pictures on VRBO doesn’t do justice to the cabin or the views outside.
This is a great cabin for 2 families. The deck off the main house over looks a small pond and there are many nearby attractions. The house is nicely furnished.Hot tub cccould use a bit more cleansing more cleaning. and t

Thank you for your feedback, sorry the hot tub was not in top condition, we will revise our cleaning procedure going forward.
Very beautiful property, with access to pond. Had everything we needed. Hot tub was nice and had great views. We didn’t venture out because it was our intentions to stay in and it was very cozy, roomy and the shuffleboard was a cool plus! The only thing I would recommend for the property is a bigger tv (there’s only one, which was totally fine just maybe could be bigger) and also maybe a routine window cleaning. The big beautiful windows was the selling point for me of this house and they were difficult to see out. I cleaned the lower ones myself. Nothing that would stop me from giving this property a 5 star rating because it’s stunning! I would absolutely recommend this property to everyone looking for a great get away and it’s close to a lot of hiking and outdoor fun! Very cool place!!
