We had a great 2 night stay for a guys weekend of fishing and golf. The cabin was exactly what we needed. It has everything you need and more. A/C cooled the cabin well, the beds were comfortable, and the cabin was good and clean.When you stay make sure to stop in to the bucktail bar and grill and have a burger! Great food and service!

The cabin was as described the owners were so friendly and easy check in it was nice having an on site boat launch and a doc we could leave the boat in the water it was a nice little place for a fun family getaway for the weekend. Can’t wait to come back!

Cozy cabin

We stayed for a short weekend with our dog. The cabin was cozy and perfect for the stay. Perfect place for any outdoor fun! The lodge has a good atmosphere!

Beautiful Lake

Our host was very accommodating and went to some trouble to provide us with a boat. The lake was beautiful and we enjoyed catching some nice fish, especially big cats. I appreciate the kindness of our host.

What a gem!

We really had the best time here. The house was cozy, had everything we needed, and the beds were very comfortable. We spent our weekend swimming in the lake, grilling, and enjoying great company by the fire. It was nice to walk over to the nearby restaurant for a quick bite to eat and a cocktail. The highlight of our weekend was fishing off the dock, we caught a variety of fish. We are already planning our next trip to come!

True Northwoods Experience!

Cozy, cute, spotless cabin. Peaceful and beautiful location. The Lodge has excellent food (street tacos yum!) and service. The owner Joe is so personable and knowledgeable. Had a boat ready for us. Made us feel like friends, not guests. We will definitely be back!

Up north

We had a great time fishing. Did not have any luck on Barker lake but found great fishing in surrounding area. The cabin is old but very clean. Joe was a wonderful host.
