Double booked

When we arrived some else was had booked outside vrbo. Owner would never contact us.

Guest booked home that had already been booked and occupied by Airbnb guest without host aware and opt to show up at the door step without notifying host about booking. Host notify Vrbro and guest receive 100% refund and home alternative home provided. Host did alert Vrbro to turn off instant booking that system turn it on without host notice.

Inaccurate Listing Caused Medical Emergency

TERRIBLE!!! Looks like the property doesn't get cleaned. There was pet dander EVERYWHERE! It was on the couch, rug, and bed sheets (under the blankets) were even covered. The host was contacted, as this is supposed to be a unit that doesn't allow pets, and we were told that they can't control it when VRBO can allow people to have service animals. The problem is, one of our children is allergic to pet dander and began experiencing an allergic reaction, causing us to vacate the home within only a few hours after checking in (we checked in, then left for Walmart to purchase cleaning supplies to clean their home and to get some dinner). There were gnats everywhere (even dead ones in the refrigerator). There were spider eggs on the furniture and bug buffets in corners. Yet, we would have dealt with it, if not for the pet dander and our child's allergic reaction. This caused us a major inconvenience as we were there to celebrate my Navy retirement and for our son to attend a soccer camp where there were apparently other sports events occurring during the same timeframe. We had to book a hotel room that really couldn't accommodate the 5 of us because everything was booked up and our son had to sleep on the floor. Other issues include no smoke detecter and being sent the wrong wifi password. I don't know why VRBO still has this property listed because we contacted them and sent pictures before we even vacated the property! As of this review, we still have not received our refund.

That guest review is NOT TRUE AT ALL.This is the guest who trash our home for several hours after arrival .used all bedrooms ,alot of supplies,left huge gabage in kitchen after party without complain only to leave early morning with excuse that home is not pet free and they knew well that we allow trained pet.Guest creat a seen so that they can get refund instend of being honest.That is the home that got 5 start by guest who checked in a day later and continue to receive them 5 stars.Guest also brought in extra guests without host approval.
