It is also conveniently located close to hwy 75 for easy access to explore more of the Dallas area. Our cottage is a 3 bedroom, 2 full bathrooms (towels provided). Each bedroom and living room have smart TVs/Roku devices and also a dedicated workspace is located in 3rd bedroom.
We know what its like traveling with kids (we have 4!) so we have also provided a pack n play and umbrella stroller located in the king bedroom closet. A high chair has also been provided in the kitchen along with kids dinnerware. Fun family board games and children's books are located in the tv console for additional entertainment!
As for pets, we've provided a large dog kennel that can comfortably contain your pets indoors, as needed. (holds dogs approx. 30 in long, 23 in tall, ~70 lbs). The kennel is located in the storage shed on the side of the cottage.
Our kitchen is fully equipped and includes both coffee and tea options.
The back patio/deck is perfectly secluded and surrounded by bamboo to give you the privacy. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the new fire pit table that seats 4 comfortably or lounge on the sectional sofa. We also have a grill out on the patio/deck (extra propane tank in the storage shed, if needed).
You can almost always find live music in downtown Mckinney any day of the week. Some of our favorite spots to eat and have drinks are: -Ricks Steakhouse -Cadillac Pizza -The Celt -Spoons -The Yard -Sugar Bacon -Mellow Mushroom -Koji Sushi -Landon Winery -Baron's Creek Winery
Real fun place for the kiddos is Arcade 92 (great mix of old school games such as pin-ball machines, to new X-box PlayStations, arcade games... vintage meets modern!)
Tupps Brewery is also a must stop by and see..

This was our second stay and we still love it! Last fall was more enjoyable because we could enjoy the deck and outside fireplace, but only had one morning "cool" enough to sit out on the deck for mimosas this time.Clean, cute, comfortable. NO complaints. Great location (walkable to square). Highly recommend!
We have stayed at many rentals. I would highly recommend this property. It was very nicely decorated, clean, supplied and a wonderful location. The back patio was very nice and secluded. Very nice place to relax and close to so many amenities.
Adorable property. Super clean and easy drive to downtown.

Liked: Communication, location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Cleanliness
We enjoyed our stay in McKinney overall. On the first day, we noticed a few issues, including a mildew/musty smell in parts of the home. We reached out to the host, and they were very responsive and stayed in communication with us while working to address the concerns. We really appreciated their willingness to listen and make an effort to resolve the issues. Good communication from a host makes a big difference, and we were thankful for how they handled the situation.
We unfortunately had to cancel our trip due to a sudden family emergency involving our daughter and were unable to stay. Although we can't comment on the property itself, we wanted to recognize the host for their kindness, compassion, and excellent communication during an incredibly difficult time. They went above and beyond to work with us, and their understanding meant a great deal to our family. We truly appreciate their generosity and hope to stay here in the future.
We absolutely loved our stay here. It was a beautiful home. Very clean and stocked with everything we could possibly need or want. We walked to the downtown area from the house. Very safe, cute and short walk to downtown. I can’t say enough good things about this house. It was just perfect.
This was an amazing find. I highly recommend due to the cleanliness, the location is ideal if you want to walk to all the bars/restaurants/shops. The house is on a quiet street but close like a 4 minute walk to the cutest downtown. The house itself was very roomy, comfortable, showers had great hot water, the living space was open and inviting. The beds were soooo comfy and the linens were fresh.
Super cute place with cozy vibes and fun decor! The host was super friendly and made us feel right at home. Plus, it’s just a short stroll to downtown McKinney—perfect for grabbing coffee or checking out the shops!"
Great responses from Thomas! The house was just as expected from the profile and it’s the perfect location to Downtown McKinney and surrounding Collin county area.
Great place to stay! The location was perfect. We walked to downtown McKinney several times. Very clean, spacious and the bed was super comfortable. Host was very responsive.
Great location. Owner was awesome and was very flexible with us as our stay ended up being longer than planned and he was great working with us. It was much appreciated!
The place was clean and comfortable, with a great location close to downtown. The host was very easy to communicate with, making the stay even better. Next time we need a place in McKinney, we’ll definitely stay here again if it’s available!
I revisited this wonderful vacation property, and I can’t say enough about the amazing hosts. They genuinely cared about our experience, checking in regularly to ensure everything was perfect. Their hospitality made our stay truly special. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a welcoming and comfortable getaway!
