House was great for our group and we all had a blast. Quiet location with a feeling of having the forest to ourselves though close enough to restaurants, activities, and shopping at the same time. Basil was incredibly helpful and attentive to questions and requests.

Awesome property and experience!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Stargazer Chalet. A beautiful property that was clean and well-furnished, it offered plenty of space and amenities that left us wanting for nothing. Check in process was very simple and communication with the owner was friendly and easy. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to visit the Durango/Purgatory area.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at this property. The home was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals and feel right at home. The views were stunning—perfect for enjoying morning coffee or evening sunsets. Best of all, the hosts were the nicest we've ever encountered—so kind, responsive, and thoughtful. This stay exceeded our expectations in every way. Highly recommend! And dog Friendly!

Amazing property

I’m very thankful for this property. Our family had an amazing time. The home had everything we were looking for in a vacation home. It’s conveniently located between Durango and Silverton which made visiting the different sights very easy. The home owners are very accommodating and kind. Don’t pass this one up.

We loved the home. It is in a great location between Silverton and Durango with the back of the home against the Hermosa Cliffs. The home was clean, comfortable, and had lots of amenities. We would definately stay at this home again in the future.
