An excellent choice especially for large groups. House is well provisioned and well maintained. Nice touch having the fire place light upon arrival.Owners checked to make sure everything was on track. Exceptional experience.
This cabin was absolutely amazing! Everthing was clean and very comfortable. The bedrooms are away from the from the living room making it quiet for those who wish to sleep. The kitchen was well supplied with a variety of pans and cooking supplies. The host was quick to answer any questions. I would highly recommend making a reservation.
Entire house was clean, cozy and modern. Great layout for large family gathering. Beautiful location on lake and close to town. Great game room and bunk room perfect for kids. Host was great and replied to questions promptly. Comprehensive digital guidebook provided by host. Easy check-in process. Our entire family loved it.
Beautiful place. Loved the location and the lake was so peaceful. Heard many loons and eagles because we believe there was an eagles nest nearby. I even scared a deer on accident. It was simply a wonderful stay. Thank you!
House location is wonderful!! It was great in winter but I bet even better in summer. Proximity to town was perfect. The game room was an absolute blast and the views from the main room were phenomenal!!
We had an incredible stay at Northern Exposure Log Cabins and cannot recommend it enough. From the moment we booked, the communication was extraordinary. Every question was answered quickly and clearly, which made planning for a large group so much easier. The cabin itself is beautiful, with thoughtful finishes everywhere you look. It is truly designed for gathering. There was plenty of space for our group to spread out, relax, cook together, and still find quiet corners. The kitchen was spacious and fully stocked with everything we needed. One of the sweetest touches was how dog friendly the property is. Not only are pups welcome, there was even a bed waiting for our pooch. That level of care meant so much.We visited in the winter and the location could not have been better. We filled our days with adventure at Dry Lake Loop, Kawishiwi Falls, events at the Ely Winter Festival, and a stop at Dorothy Molter Museum for root beer. Nights ended perfectly with sauna time, laughter, and watching wildlife wander through. Our deer visitors were definitely a highlight. If you are looking for a warm, welcoming, well appointed place to host a large group in the Ely area, this is it. We would come back in a heartbeat.
This cabin was so clean and spacious. There was so much room to cook meals, play games and spread out. The lake view is beautiful, the sauna was a treat and Ely is so close with lots to see and do. We definitely want to stay here again!
Everything about our stay was positively perfect! Very responsive to our needs if we had questions, beds were extremely comfortable. The home is absolutely gorgeous and every amenity is available you want for nothing. Would stay here again in a heartbeat, we had a fantastic time!
This property is perfect for large groups. Never did we feel like we didn’t have enough space. The canoe and the kayaks were nice to have on hand and the sauna was fantastic….all the amenities were great and we did use them all.The host Marcus was very quick to respond to all of our questions.Highly recommend this property, you will not be disappointed.
Beautiful property with a lovely little beach and fire pit. The cabin is very “open,” spacious and beautiful and the views from the bedrooms on the first floor are very nice. The kayaks and canoe are an excellent addition, they were much used by my family and I. Didn’t try the sauna but would love to come back and do so in the wintertime.
We had a wonderful stay at this property, which provided a perfect blend of activities and relaxation. The sauna was a highlight, offering a great way to unwind. The high-end appliances, along with the grill and smoker, made cooking a pleasure. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely rent this property again. 5/5 Rating!
Gorgeous views and very nice cabin!
Host was extremely responsive to any and all of our questions. He even helped locate a left behind toy.
Only recommendation is if you travel there in the winter make sure you have good tires and 4 wheel drive! Drive is steep and slipperly when that gorgeous Minneaota snow starts falling!
The property is absolutely wonderful, we loved the layout of the cabin, how the space was decorated, and the location. We wouldn't change a single thing. We had an absolutely wonderful stay, and the owners were great with communication and promptly answered any questions or requests we had. I can't say enough good things about our stay.
