"Make Your Mark" is the perfect Sapphire getaway for families and friends, with its wraparound deck, hot tub, fire pit, and beautiful wooded surroundings.

Gather around the great room’s wood-burning fireplace (firewood provided), watch for wildlife through the picture windows, or relax on the deck with your morning coffee.

The main level of the home offers 3 bedrooms, while the cozy loft, accessible by a built-in ladder, features 2 full-size beds—perfect for kids or extra guests.

The fun continues outdoors with a screened porch featuring a bar, mini fridge, and darts, plus outdoor dining, a hot tub, fire pit, and both gas and pellet grills. Inside, you'll also find fiber-optic Wi-Fi and ping pong for rainy-day entertainment.

The fully equipped kitchen includes a gas range, drip coffee maker, Keurig, and plenty of small appliances for easy meal prep.

You will be located close to some of Western North Carolina's best waterfall hikes and mountain adventures. There is the option, with purchase of a guest pass, to access to Sapphire Valley's resort amenities which include activities such as the Red Bird golf course, Fairfield Lake with watercraft rental, fitness center, hot tub, indoor and outdoor pools, arcade, tennis & pickle ball, miniature golf, and more. There is also a seasonal zip line and ski slope. These activities are approximately 10 minutes away.

Great cabin

We had a great time at this cabin. We especially loved the screened in porch downstairs. Owners were very quick to respond to any questions we had. Plenty to explore in the area.

We took four of our grandkids for a getaway with them. We all loved the house. It's location was easy to get to. Close to a lot of falls and trails. Close to stores. Communication was excellent. No issues.

Tasteful cabin in secure location with easy access to the beauty and adventure of NC mountains.

We enjoyed our stay. Clean, well-stocked kitchen and everything else we needed was there. Firm comfortable beds. Owners spared no expense for our comfort, including wine, firewood, and coffee. Highly recommend.

Gorgeous Cashiers mountain home

The house was absolutely lovely! The convenient neighborhood location, fully stocked kitchen, tasteful, cozy furnishings, hot tub, beautiful outdoor landscaping, multiple outdoor seating areas, hosts' quick responses...the list goes on and on. Our entire family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we all highly recommend this beautiful home! We hope to stay there again next year!

Hiking trip

Beautiful cabin in the woods with beautiful finish out. Perfectly located between beautiful waterfall hikes in Gorges State Park and fine dinning in Highlands and everything in between !

family fun in the mountains

Great house with lots to do right on the property. We all especially enjoyed the ping pong table. It rained 24-7 the first four days of our stay, so the ping pong kept us happy. Cashiers/Sapphire area is great!

Loved the welcome basket and the well stocked pantry for small needs. Sapphire Valley golf course was enjoyed by the men. Loved using the firepit and jacuzzi. Wonderful!

Amazing time at “Make Your Mark”

We had a wonderful time in Sapphire NC at “Make Your Mark” house! Great experience and cute welcome basket from hosts. Our family had a great time hiking, using the Sapphire Valley amenities, and then coming home to this cozy home! FYI- Sapphire valley amenities usage has recently increased and is now $5 per person per day

Sapphire Mountain

Beautiful area and there wasn’t enough time to do everything we wanted. The house was amazing. We enjoyed playing ping pong and darts, sitting in the hot tub and roasting marshmallows on the fire pit. A thoughtful welcome gift was provided. We will be back.

Julie and TJ are native Floridians. We live on the west coast of Florida in the Tampa Bay area. We enjoy spending about a week each month at our cabin, with our three golden retrievers, Jack, Willy and Gus. We are both in the real estate industry – Julie is a realtor, and TJ is a loan officer. We began renting "Make Your Mark" in 2021, and have received rave reviews.
We purchased “Make Your Mark” in 2021. Julie fell in love with the massive fireplace and chandelier, while TJ appreciated the views from the wraparound decks. Julie has been vacationing and hiking the western North Carolina mountains for over 30 years, so owning a mountain home of her own was a dream come true. We both love the peaceful surroundings and the slower pace of mountain life.

We enjoy reading the comments about the special vacations and memories guests have shared at our cabin. The peaceful surroundings of 'Make Your Mark' are a great place to relax and reconnect with loved ones. As one vacationer wrote, “We laughed for hours - catching up on our friendship and basking in your beautiful hospitality.".
