Nice place for a good price!

The location is not to far from front street and is nice and quiet. Home was clean and cozy! Would recommend to others looking to stay in Natchitoches!

Cozy Place to Stay

Great little place to stay in Natchitoches. Second time we’ve been and have enjoyed it both times. Unit has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Close to town but far enough out to feel like country. Will be back next time we visit

This property is a great out-of-the-way location. It's in a quiet, rural neighborhood, but still just a few minutes away from shopping. Check in was smooth and easy. I only communicated with the host a couple times, but he's very quick to respond. I can never seem to get the code on the door on the first try, but I'm always good on the second. I didn't give him a proper check out, though. I just vacated the premises as I had to catch an early flight out of MSY, which is about 4 hours away.The unit itself was comfortable enough and is good for the budget. However, it could use to be updated. I didn't know what to make of the bare concrete floor. I'm guessing it's just easy to clean. It's not a big deal, it was just different. The dishes were fine, but the pots and pans were well used. The older washer was fine, too, but the dryer is getting weak. There's a humidity issue as you can see rust on the shower rod and what looks like moldy spots in the corners of the ceiling, but it didn't bother me. Bugs are also able to get in, but this is to be expected out in the country. All in all, it was a good, quiet stay.

Apartment was perfect for my needs in relocating to the area. AC was cold which was perfect with the triple digit heat that settled in the area. Ambre was fabulous with communication and addressing issues!!

Not what we expected...

Based on pictures of the property and reviews, we were disappointed with what we found. The first thing that hit us was the overwhelming wet dog smell when we walked in. We actually had to go buy air freshener to bw able to tolerate it. Also, the property was kot clean. There was dog hair everywhere, including on both couches and the floor. The floor had clearly not been mopped recently, as our socks were black from walking on it. The property is very run down overall. Paint is scratched everywhere, appliances are so loud you cannot run them at night, kitchen chair was broken, the mattress on the sofa bed is so worn down you can feel the metal bars of the base...we had to purchase an air mattress to put on top of the sofa bed ao our kids were able to sleep. We were so uncomfortable, we decided to leave a day early and lose our money.
