Charming cottage with fabulous screen porch with beautiful Mountain View. Ideal for couples. Cottage is small but comfortably furnished and well equipped, with very nice master bedroom. Location convenient to Gorges State park and other great hiking spots. Good restaurants nearby in Sapphire and Cashiers. Would definitely come back.

This was our third time staying at this property- need I say more? The kitchen is well-stocked, the beds are comfy, and it’s a very quiet, private, safe area. The great feature of this home is the screened porch with the massive wood-burning fireplace. We had a fire every night, cooked dinner on the grill, and ate outside on the porch, and made s’mores for dessert. There is a nice Ingles in Cashiers that had everything we needed. We hiked on the property and at nearby waterfalls. We saw deer and a couple bears. Such a relaxing week.

The house is lovely, the bed was comfortable and the inside of the house was very clean. The view is great. It’s easy to get there. We did have to clean the porch furniture with the vacuum cleaner, but that was fine. However, the Wi-Fi did not work. If you don’t need the internet, you’ll be okay. Otherwise, it’s a slog.

Husband and I spent a week at this cabin and loved the location because of the security of the gated preserve and the privacy. Very few cars go up or down the road in a day, and you don’t have any close neighbors. Cabin is well stocked and beds are comfy. It was immaculate upon our arrival. We spent most of our time out on the screen porch with a fire going. Love the view of the mountains and the sunsets are amazing here. Lots of hiking nearby including on the property. This is our second stay, and we will be back.
