There comes a time when you need to pamper yourself. Grandview Manor offers you this opportunity. Imagine a vacation where the hustle and bustle of vacation angst is not felt or even thought of. Awake in the morning with a view from the Master suite of your private riverfront where the nearest person is nearly 1/4 mile away from you, your coffee is fresh, steaming and the morning dew is still on the ground. As the day warms up your biggest decision is whether to cross the compound to play tennis or go for a swim, or maybe if fishing is more to your liking, then stroll out to your 100 ft pier and cast a line. You may catch a mouth-watering flounder, a puppy drum or maybe some delicious Chesapeake Bay blue crabs. The end of the day may begin with a toddy on one of the grand porches as the water in the Jacuzzi fills waiting for you.
Your biggest challenge at Grand View Manor is learning to relax. We will provide the surroundings; you provide the relaxation!

Grandview Manor Virginia is also great for family reunions, weddings/receptions, corporate retreats!

Minimum rental on weekends 2 nights. Summer season-Weekly rentals only with normal check-in/out on Saturdays. Will consider shorter stays within 30 days of arrival. It never hurts to ask!

Lovely week at Grand Residence. The view was superb! Loved sitting on the back porch admiring the river. Plenty of seating and tables everywhere. Comfy furniture in the living room so we could all enjoy movie night.

This home was perfect for 3 generations of our family vacationing together! Spacious areas in the home for gathering together and lots of areas to get away for private time as well. Beautiful grounds with large open areas for the grandkids to run. We spent a lot of time on the back porch enjoying the view, on the dock fishing and crabbing and in the pool. We were even fortunate enough to have a bald eagle fly over the dock several times one evening! This is a beautiful, peaceful property where we were able to make many memories- Loved it!

Great property on the water and nice deck to relax on while looking out at the bay. Pool and tennis court was a big hit with my group. Plenty of space indoors and out. I was surprised that the first, last name and age of each guest was required. The checkout time could be pushed back by 1 hour to 11am as I have found this is the usual checkout time for rentals. That would also help as the checkout process includes a few steps.

My wife and I booked this property for our wedding and we had the best time! The owner and property manager are very communicative and accommodating. The property itself is beautiful and peaceful, and there are plenty of bedrooms/living areas for larger groups. Would definitely recommend!

We had the best family vacation, four generations! Only left the property once in the week. We paddleboard, catch crab and fish, swam in the pool and played cards every day. We cooked big dinners in the kitchen that had everything we needed. Lots of refrigerators which was so helpful. We all slept well with enough rooms and very comfortable beds. Thanks for sharing such a beautiful house and property with us.

We loved our family vacation here! It wasn’t the best weather every day but that was okay. We spent our time fishing and crabbing on the dock, playing cards on the large porch and swimming in the pool on the warm sunny days. Checking the crab pots was a big hit all week long! This was the most relaxing vacation we have ever had. The property and house were beautiful and had all the accommodations! We’d recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing family vacation!

Gorgeous waterfront Property with a great fishing/crabbing pier, in ground pool and tennis court(also great for pickle bal). Grand porches both back and front, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. Very secluded yet only a few minutes to a nice little town with all you need. Property manager was extremely helpful the couple of times I had questions. Five stars all around.

Amazing place

My family and I stayed here for our annual family vacation. We can honestly say everyone from the oldest to youngest had a blast. The house is very spacious for the 12 of us. The view of the water was spectacular from the back porch. And having the in-ground pool and pool house was great on the hot days. We will definitely want to stay here again!

Perfect Get-A-Way!!!

Gorgeous historic property in one of our favorite counties! So much for the kids to enjoy - never bored !! We spent most of our time in the pool, eating on the back porch or on the boat. Thanks for sharing your slice of heaven with us.
