We needed a large home for our get away to Mountain Home and this was theperfect place! It was close to everything from Walmart to parks to the new Aquatic Center that just opened it was amazing. I came to Mountain Home with my 6 Sisters to visit our sister who lives in Mountain Home. The house was built in the 70’s and is decorated accordingly which brought back so many memories of the farm house we grew up in. There was plenty of space for all of us and the amenities were plentiful- we cooked in every day and had everything we needed. Ashley was quick to respond to our requests. If you’re looking for a place and you need space don’t hesitate to stay here - we had the best time.

Great stay & location

Just as pictured! It held 3 large families and we had a Great Lake weekend. It’s hard to find a place that holds this many people and it’s not a Bunch of twin beds stacked in rooms.

We ate several meals at the property. One of the guests is a chef, so she was disappointed in the pans, serving bowls, mixing bowls, etc. she had brought several things from home. So loved the location and the space in the house.

Our dream wedding location

My now (husband) and I rented this beautiful property to host our 35 person wedding and it was more than we could’ve ever imagined. The backyard was stunning and full of life! The house had the most stunning character!!! Wish we could just move in!!!!!!

Nice and comfy home

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was big enough to accommodate our group of 15. The beds were comfortable and everyone liked having their own space. Not very many pots, pans and mixing bowls. We just went and bought some. The communication with the owner was fantastic. The yard is wonderful, with privacy. The location is wonderful!! We rented a boat and enjoyed Lake Norfolk. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Mountain Home.

Great Property!

Our family rented this home for the eclipse weekend. It was perfect. The home is huge and fit our family well so everyone had their own space. It was very clean, and we loved the 70s vibe of the home. The fire pit was great, and we enjoyed watching March Madness games in the family room downstairs. As other reviewers mentioned, there are not many serving bowls or pots if you are planning to cook for a large group. We brought a few things with us after reading the reviews, and we were great. The bathrooms were stocked well with Shampoo and soaps. We appreciated the stocked coffee bar in the kitchen. It was great to be able to bring our dog with us too. I would love to stay here again.

When our power went out, the host was extremely responsive and even asked if she needed to come and help. The electric company was already on it and it was only about an hour so nothing she could have done. There was a lot of space for all members and enough hot water for 3 showers at a time. :)
