Very clean and comfortable stay! Communication was excellent and the kitchen was sufficiently stocked to help our weekend retreat convenient and much like home! Deer next to property were friendly and fun to watch roam and lay in the evenings. Would love to come back next summer!

Clean and quiet…and we saw a Fox!

We enjoyed our stay at Sleeping Fox Hideaway. It was the perfect place to stay while visiting with family. The house was super clean and organized, and there were many nice details including the « fox theme ». The house is located on a quiet side street and the beds were comfortable. We actually saw a beautiful fox trotting through the small woods to the left of the property! I highly recommend this place to any VRBO guests.

Forest Lake hide-a-way

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this cottage. Smaller but so cutely decorated and family could visit as living room was sufficient for company. Shaded property so cool inside...was a quiet neighborhood...all positive all the way around!

The fox cabin!

When you drive into the property it is very nice , a deck , lawn chairs, a swing and a beautiful yard! On the inside this place is so nicely decorated makes you feel right at home! The goths a notebook full of everything you need such as how to use everything and what is all available to do in area ! I highly recommend this place!

Anniversary get away.

The house was clean and well stocked, but the lake was sad and terribly at a very low level. And it was quite remote and far from anything. We made the best of things and enjoyed our time there. There was just a lot more driving involved.

Very comfortable and clean rental

Host was very nice and due to schedule availability was able to let us check-in early. Home was clean and comfortable. We were also happy there was a washer/dryer. Lot/Yard was very clean. Private and quiet. The internet was on and off, possibly due to a storm. Vacationing there is perfect, but if you need to remote work, I'd consider somewhere with better connection. We'd love to stay there again!

Cute decor but dirty and outdated.

Pictures show cute decor. We found it dirty and outdated. This rental smelled musty, damp and dank, like closed up for a long time. It's on a slab, no air vents inside. We told out state owners about dirty conditions, included pictures, zero assistance. Sand on kitchen floor, dirt and empty containers behind shelving in kitchen by trash bin, black specks/dirt on oven and inside fridge, fireplace filled with burned ash (FLUE), filthy bathroom fan vent, and hair on bathroom floor and side of shower. The air/heat pump worked in LR and kitchen area but the bedrooms only cooled by loud, wobbly and old ceiling fans (also dirty). It was humid and miserable trying to sleep at night. There is ONE tableside lamp in one bedroom. The musty smelling large closets have hooks, ok for beach not golf wear. The nearest grocery is 40 mins away but there is no information on the listing to tell guests to bring TP, paper towels (NO paper towels and 2 measly rolls of TP provided), groceries and firewood. The so called coffee maker is very old and missing a water filter. In reality: NO coffee maker. Not even a kettle to boil water. There is no dishwasher ( we knew that), very little counter space. The beds are comfortable and sheets are nice. There is a couch and 2 chairs in the living area, needs a coffee table and another end table. Where put phones, drinks? We stepped onto deck outside, front door sticks, and found deck spongy and unstable. Cannot recommend.
