There was a loud party and /or arguing going on in another unit that I could hear. Place was clean, and everything was fine except the noise levels mentioned.
The east downtown area was nice and peaceful the room was very clean nice bathroom no washer and dryer though but we didnt need it, but overall i liked it alot i would definitely come back.
I would say this is overall a cute small apartment type room, smaller than a standard hotel room, with nothing more than a bed, closet and bathroom. There is no desk or sitting area at all. It fit my needs as I just needed a place to stay. It is clean, cute and has a great mattress and pillows for comfort.
I love your place, it was perfect for the night. And I will be using it again for my stays in Houston. But PLEASE change the mattress. It felt like sleep on a rock. Other than that, everything was perfect.
My unit was as described, it was clean, easy to access, a nice large TV, nice shower, linens, large closet, a coffee pot, a small fridge and a microwave. I was alone, so I didn't mind the appliances were all located just feet from my bed. It indicated a laundry room however this unit did not have laundry. Maybe the front unit does, but I was not given directions how to find a laundry room. It was extremely hot in Houston the week I stayed. Luckily, there is a strong blowing ceiling fan because the thermostat read 80 degrees my first night and I reached out the next morning to the owner. I also suggested window blinds on the higher windows. There were blinds on the ground level and plenty of privacy. I had the thermostat setting at 70 but I never saw the temp drop, it wasn't addressed. Management indicated they got a message (from the owner). I blocked windows with pillows to keep the evening sun from aiming into the room through the sky windows. By night two, it was 76 degrees and tolerable with the strong blowing fan. It was fairly inexpensive to rent, close to my conference and was safe. I wasn't in the unit a lot so I could accept the room temperature issue overall. I only walked early in the morning during daylight and everything was fine. I saw a CVS on my walk to downtown but never went inside.
