The house was great for our needs. Had a procedure done at BS&W and being close was a plus. The house was equipped with everything we needed. It was cheerful and bright. The neighborhood was very quiet. The ceiling fans and air conditioner were perfect for the Texas heat.

Mixed Experience - Cleanliness and Security Concerns But Responsive HostOur stay had both positive and negative aspects. On the positive side, the host was exceptionally accommodating and communicative. They allowed us an early check-in, which was greatly appreciated, and were very responsive throughout our stay. We also appreciated their flexibility in allowing us to bring our own Christmas tree to celebrate the holiday, which made our stay feel more special.Unfortunately, several issues detracted from our experience. The cleanliness of the property fell short of expectations—we discovered dirty dishes in the cabinets upon arrival. Basic supplies were lacking, with only two trash bags provided for four people staying three nights, and no dishwashing detergent or sponge for cleaning dishes. The house also had a strong mothball odor that forced us to purchase our own air fresheners.More concerning, the front door raised some security questions. While it locked, it shook noticeably and appeared to have been pried open at some point, though we’re unsure if it had been broken into previously. Additionally, the layout was misleading—the third bedroom listed is actually the converted living room, so you walk directly into it upon entering the house, which affects privacy. While the host’s responsiveness and flexibility were commendable, the property needs attention to cleanliness, maintenance, and a more accurate description of the space.
