About this property

Newly Renovated Long Beach Cottage - Ocean and Marsh views; 1 min walk to beach!

We are excited to share our newly renovated "Long Beach Cottage", a third-row home on the exclusive West End of Oak Island. It's only a 1 min walk to the public handicap beach access and sits directly on the marsh. The large rocking chair front porch has ocean views and the new screened back porch has a peaceful and private marsh view.

The living room has plenty of seating for all of your guests. There is a 55" smart TV and plenty of games, books, and puzzles to keep everyone entertained. The kitchen is fully stocked including a state-of-the-art water filter, 12 cup coffee maker, air fryer, crockpot and blender. The dining area has a large dinging table with comfortable seating for 8.

The LBC sleeps 8 with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The bedrooms are furnished with a King, a Queen and 2 rooms that each have 2 Twin XL mattresses that can be converted to a King for an additional fee. All mattresses are NEW in 2023! Each bedroom has a ceiling fan, noise machine and USB ports for charging all of your devices.

The house has a fully enclosed hot/cold outdoor shower and a washer/dryer. Bed linens and bath towels are provided.

The LBC has been thoughtfully designed and well-appointed to ensure a comfortable stay for everyone!

This was by far, the best rental/vacation we have had! The owners are so kind and great with communication. The property is so clean, everything you could want or need inside the home. This felt like we had a home away from home and we are so grateful to have found such a wonderful space to spend time together as a family. Very family friendly, easy and short walk to the beach. Summer Beach Trip

The house was perfect for our annual beach trip to Oak Island. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked, the knives were even sharp. The house layout is perfect with two sets of bedrooms and a bathroom on each side of the house. The large dining table allowed for everyone to sit and eat dinner together comfortably. The back porch was screened in and offered great marsh views. The location was fantastic, grocery store was a short drive away, and the beach access was only a couple minutes walk from the house. The owners were very accommodating and responsive. Hopefully this house will be available for my next trip to the island.

It was a very nice house and pretty much as advertised although “ocean view”is a big stretch. However the marsh view from the back was fantastic. Overall the place was very comfortable and fit our needs very well. Communication was excellent throughout. Our only issue was we were charged 65 dollars after check out as we were told there was a suntan oil stain on two of the comforters and one needed to be dry cleaned and one replaced. Since no one in our party (we are all over 60) even had or uses sun tan oil, it still remains a mystery to me?

Perfect beach cottage

This beach home is the best! The most comfy beds, softest sheets, beautiful views of the beach and the marsh. Short walk to beach (didn't have to pay extra to park!) Susan was so helpful and kind. Next vacation we will definitely book here!!

Excellent Beach House!

Long Beach Cottage is an excellent choice! Location could not be better with marsh views and a quick 2 min walk to the beach. Each bedroom has its own mirror and counter space making it easy to get ready. Very clean with nice furnishings. Will come again!

Nice place

The property was very nice! Just a couple mins walk to the beach. The neighborhood is quiet and the home was very clean. The beds were super comfortable. We did have an unexpected issue with the hot water tank but the homeowners were quick to take care of the problem. Very responsive to any communication we had. Our family of 7 really enjoyed our beach vacation at Long Beach cottage!

Such a lovely place to enjoy the best of Oak Island! Truly a 1 minute walk to the beach, this beautifully decorated and thoughtfully appointed home has everything a family or small group could need for a relaxing and fun weekend. Couldn't have asked for more!

My daughter and I had an amazing stay at Long Beach!🎆The amenities were all the comforts of home and then some. Location is convenient to beach access as well as everything OKI has to offer (shopping, pier, dining, etc.). Property includes stunning views from the front deck and rear deck (beautiful estuary sunsets). Can't wait to rent again! 👍👍🗯️💯
