Looking for a family friendly getaway close to Farmington, New Mexico attractions?

This home is on a private 2.5 acre lot, and has 270° views of the mountains and valleys overlooking Farmington. Located near Chokecherry Canyon, San Juan College, Pinon Hills Golf Course, Lions Wilderness Park & Amphitheater, and several hiking and biking trails. This home also offers a perfect view of the July 4th fireworks from the back covered patio! For the off-road enthusiasts wanting to explore Chokecherry Canyon, the Glade Run Recreational area is just out the back door, you'll have several BLM access points all under 5 minutes on dirt roads.

The 2.5 acres has plenty of space to hike and explore the sandstone formations also offering a natural playground for the kids. This location is a short 3 minute drive to the future home of the Farmington, New Mexico Temple.

This Southwestern style home with great natural light has two king bedrooms, one is a master with a 5 piece attached en suite bathroom, and a bunk room that has two full and two twin beds that sleep up to 4 children or 2 adults.

The living room with a flat screen Roku TV and sitting room combined offer ample seating with a fireplace to enjoy on a chilly winter day. A hand made dinner table from Mexico that seats 8 with extra bar seating in the huge kitchen for 4 ensures seating for all.

The garage is set up with three game options to help keep the kids entertained and plenty of storage for bikes, and other outdoor gear. The in-floor radiant heating and evaporative cooling system means you can enjoy this home year around. The covered back patio has a 10 foot Colorado Pine picnic table and another table with seating for 4 providing a great place to relax taking in the views. You also have the opportunity to swap stories around a fire pit in the evening. The master bedroom also has its own private covered patio with table and chairs for coffee in the morning.

The entire exterior only of the home is under surveillance with exterior cameras located at the front door, the driveway and the covered patio area.

We are a dog friendly property; however, dogs are not to be left unattended during your stay or allowed on furniture. We have a two pet maximum, with a $25 pet fee per dog - max $50. The property is not fenced and we ask you please pick up after your dog.

Loved our stay. The house was absolutley beautiful. We loved the little special amenities, i.e., board games, dog dishes, and bing bags in the "kids" room. Veronica was so amazing and quick to answer any questions I had. We're definitely going to book another stay in the near future.

Everything we expected!! This is a beautiful home out on a hill, far enough away from the busy but close enough for a quick run to the store! Very clean and a seamless check in and out!! Was a peaceful and restful place! Highly recommend taking an early morning walk on the propery's trails!! I wish I had time for it every morning!!

This house was so clean. The master bedroom is on one side of the house and the other bedrooms are on the other. The house is open and was there was plenty of space for our two families. The owner was wonderful to work with. The kids enjoyed the bunk beds.

Just what we needed!

We made a last minute reservation due to a family emergency and this space was so perfect for us to gather and visit and still have privacy at night! Quite and relaxing stay!

We stayed in the home during the Connie Mack World Series. Our son and his friend whose family stayed with us was playing in the WS, it was so relaxing to come back to a home at the end of games. Time to enjoy each others company and unwind. Property is very clean and is laid out really nice. Having multiple living areas was great for our group. If we travel back to Farmington, will definitely consider this home again. Great stay and owners were easy to work with!

Beautiful house!

We loved staying at this property! It was more than we could ask for. 3 bedrooms fit our family perfectly. They had a well equipped kitchen and a great playroom in the garage for my 2 kids. We loved the layout with a TV area and a sitting area by the fireplace. We loved the location. We would definitely stay here again! Everything was very easy after we booked this house including contact. Thank you again!

Beautiful View

Property was very clean with a beautiful view of the countryside. The only problem we had was finding the correct street it did not have a street sign. The only way to find the house was a sign that gave the house number and nothing else. That was the only problem when we return to Farmington we would possibly stay again.

Great house for riding sxs

We wanted to go to New Mexico to ride some new trails. This house was located in a great spot for that. There isn't a lot of parking for 3 trucks trailers and 3 Sxs but it's doable. Plus the neighbors let us park next to their property. The house was very nice and the owners answered any questions in a timely manner. We had 3 couples, 1 child and 1 dog and it was perfect. The trails close to the house were fun but a lot of rock climbing trails. Fun trip!

Perfect Stay for Large Family

During my sister's Celebration of Life gathering, we stayed at the Glade Run Family Retreat in town and it was a wonderful experience. Our group had ample space to move around and never felt cramped. The kitchen had all the necessary amenities and even more. The back patio provided a perfect spot to have morning coffee and spend some quality family time in the evenings. We even utilized the gas grill to make some burgers and hot dogs. The huge walk-in shower in the master suite was a favorite for everyone. The circle drive offered enough parking space for our three cars. The location was convenient and close to everything we needed. We had a delightful stay and thank you for hosting us.

Wilderness Ranch

Very nice ranch style laid out home! Clean spacious living area for a family of 8 to comfortably hang out. Primary bedroom attached bathroom shower was a perfect fit for 4 to take a shower at one time, need that in my own home! Definitely would choose this home to stay again when we come back to visit. The kiddos enjoyed the wilderness hikes just right outside the back door! Only cons: no scrub brush at kitchen sink to clean dishes, no extra paper towels or toilet paper to last past one day (we scheduled 7 night stay), and no trash bags. Location of home has easy access to just about anywhere in town from the pinion hills road.

Home away from home

We came to visit family so we are familiar with the area. This house really felt like home. It was spacious inside and out. It was clean and decorated well! There was everything you needed to cook in the kitchen. The bedrooms were very large. That kid’s bunk room could have slept many kids and was perfectly equipped for them with a TV and games! Loved the split floor plan with the primary bed and bath on the opposite side of the house with its own outside door and patio.We brought our two Boston Terrier dogs. They loved the house as well as exploring the properties acreage. Everyone was comfortable here! This location is awesome just off of Pinion Hills Drive (belt loop) which takes you anywhere in Farmington quickly. The house was private and very quiet. We can’t wait to stay here again!
