Was here, for a quick weekend to visit my son at PBA University. The location was a10 minute walk to campus and located in a good neighborhood. The location is near the train tracks, so you should be aware the train comes through, its noticeable, but not an issue, and Chris was very upfront about it. I recommend this plqce and would stay again.
The location is excellent—very walkable and convenient to everything, which we really appreciated. However, there are a few important things future guests should be aware of. The apartment is located directly next to active railroad tracks. Trains run frequently throughout both the day and night, and they are quite loud—at times blowing their horn and even causing the apartment to noticeably shake as they pass. It was very disruptive to sleeping.Additionally, the apartment sits above a garage, and the noise from the garage door opening and closing early in the morning is clearly audible from inside. It appears the owners are aware of the train noise, as earplugs are provided, but we do feel these factors should be clearly disclosed in the listing so guests can make an informed decision.
