Comfy cabin with an amazing view!

This cabin made for such a relaxing, enjoyable stay. There were plenty of beds for our family and lots of room to just lounge throughout. The kitchen had everything we needed, there were several games to play, and the panoramic view of South Park out the living room windows was incredible! The location is very private, and in a gorgeous setting surrounded by aspens. It was so relaxing to sit in the hot tub every night watching distant lightning from thunderstorms.

Better than the Pictures

The pictures on the VRBO website do not capture the beauty of the property or house. Exceeded our expectations.

Amazing vacation

Hosts were above and beyond in their communication with us. Having rented through VRBO a number of times over the years we can say that this house was stocked like nothing we have experienced before. The house was so clean. We love the FairPlay area, got to experience Burro Days and just enjoy the quietness of the mountains! It was just what the family needed. One note: the driveway is a real challenge and the altitude is definitely something you need to adapt to….. but worth the climb!

Thank you so much for your thoughtful and detailed review! We’re delighted to hear that our communication and the way the home was stocked made such a positive impression, and that you found everything clean and comfortable. It’s wonderful that you were able to enjoy FairPlay, experience Burro Days, and soak in the peaceful mountain setting—what a special way to spend time with family. We appreciate your note about the driveway and altitude; those are great reminders for future guests, and we’re glad you felt the views and experience were worth the climb. We’d be honored to welcome you back anytime for another mountain getaway!

Company Planning Session

We used the house for a company planning retreat. It was a great space for us. We experienced a couple of very minor issues where the instructions provided didn't match the actual conditions. For example, instructions said there would be a stash of batteries in a drawer that we couldn't find so we ended up swapping batteries between remotes to get everything functioning. Everything else about the space was amazing. Very clean, neat and all the cooking amenities we needed to have a very enjoyable stay. We're already talking about re-booking for next year.
