Your hideaway is in the desirable Twin Palms area, a short 2 miles to downtown shopping and dining. Ocotillo Lodge was designed by renowned architects Palmer and Krisel, built in 1957 on 7 acres by the Alexanders - a featured property during Modernism Week.
This is a beautifullly furnished, remodeled one bedroom open-floorplan Mid-century condo in the historic Ocotillo Lodge. Comfortable, stylish and tastefully decorated in modern Hawaiiana style with fun artwork and antique accouterments. Danish modern period furniture, your own tiki-themed drink cart add to the flair. Modern kitchen that`s perfect for cooking a romantic meal in -- top-end appliances and cookware.
Parking onsite in a lot that surrounds the complex -- super fast and easy access into the building, with immediate access to the unit up a short flight of stairs.
Community amenities include two jacuzzis, the biggest private pool in Palm Springs (famous champagne-cork shaped), and Sunset community grill area for evening cocktails, poolside.
The grounds of the Ocotillo Lodge are spectacularly landscaped and maintained with desert flora and abundant Washingtonian Palms will delight your senses as you stroll around complex for your evening walk :)
There are walkable amenities nearby with groceries (Ralph`s), restaurants (SOPA, King`s Highway, 533 Viet Fusion, Native Foods, El Mirasol and Elmer`s) and the best coffee in Palm Springs (Koffi South PS).
Downtown Palm Springs is a 6-minute straight-shot drive, and the airport is 12 minutes. Parking is super easy onsite; car is recommended to get around (Uber/Lyft are also possible).

The city of Palm Springs requires that you are 25 years or older to book this property, no exceptions. Absolutely no pets, no exceptions (due to severe allergies).
The City of Palm Springs and Ocotillo Lodge HOA require a signed rental agreement and photo ID after booking is made (we will send these to you via Hellosign for convenient and quick e-signature); check-in is coordinated in-person with our local agent who is available 24x7.
Maximum 2 adults per City of Palm Springs; absolutely no pets (due to allergies).

HOUSE RULES
TL;DR:
- No shoes in the house
- No smoking / vaping of any kind in house or on patio
- Absolutely NO pets due to allergies
- No extra guests without prior permission
- No glass, food or things left at the pool overnight; no children in the jazuzzi or unattended
- No noise / music audible from outside of the unit
- PLEASE USE PROVIDED COASTERS. Damage to wood furniture will be billed at full cost of replacement
- PLEASE USE THE COMPOST BIN FOR FOOD WASTE. It`s required by law and we get fined if food is found in the trash
- No candles
- No incense
- No massage oils
- Keep the place tidy (this isn`t a hotel) and take out the trash regularly
Pool rules: No glass, no food, clean up after yourself (this is a condo community not a hotel), don`t leave personal belongings (towels, floaties, etc...) overnight, no children in the jacuzzis, please be respectful of long-term residents.
Noise: Palm Springs is very particular about noise - absolutely no audio should be heard from beyond the front door / patio area. Please observe quiet hours are 10pm-8am. Failure to do so will be result in removal from property and potential fine from the city of Palm Springs (yikes)!
Garbage: IMPORTANT- Compsting is required by law in California and we get fined if organic food waste is found in the trash, so please use the compost bin and empty into the green bins. Garbage facilities are located on the WEST side of the pool area (near the laundry, see the map in the guest manual on the coffee table in the unit). Please clear garbage, compost and recycle bin before departure into the main garbage for the building.
Pets: Absolutely no pets, no exceptions (due to allergies). We monitor our doorbell camera on checkin - if you are caught with a pet - $1000 fee and you`ll be asked to leave immediately
General: We respectfully ask that you do not wear shoes inside the condo, please remove them on entry. PLEASE USE PROVIDED COASTERS AND HOT PADS. Damage to furniture will be billed at full cost of replacement. Absolutely no smoking of any kind. No candles No massage oils ! Please do not bring any cooking appliances into the unit.
Additional Guests: NO additional guests on the property without prior approval; no additional guests may stay in the unit due to Palm Springs rental laws - we monitor our doorbell camera at checkin and will ask you to leave if you bring additional guest to stay in the unit.
