We had a crew of 15 adults and 2 kids, and our stay was very cozy. The house met all of our needs well, and we enjoyed the hot tub after skiing. Would recommed to all.

The home and property was as advertised. It was the perfect location. The home was stocked with everything we needed and was very clean. The hot tub was enjoyed by everyone along with the fire pit. We had deer visit us everyday we were there. The bigger kids enjoyed the downstairs TV with the Xbox they brought. We had a great time and Sharon and Andy were fantastic.

This house is in the most perfect location for skiing and anything resort related year around. We saw deer daily, had nice meals all over town and loved everything about this place. The a/c is fantastic for summer months and was the main reason we stayed here. The game room was loved by all. Very quiet neighborhood and safe. Couldn’t have asked for more.

To start, communication was great and very welcoming. We received all the information we needed and walked into a clean, well set up house. Everything we needed was there. The kids played some ping pong in the great rec room, and settled in immediately. The house is an easy walk to the ski area and restaurants in the village. From having coffee on the porch with a great view, to exploring the area, and having smores around the fire pit, our time in the mountains was perfect!

By the way, we just upgraded the property to include a hot tub :)
Check-in was easy, keyless code (everyone should do that). There was enough room for my extended family to make base camp at the house and to do fun summer stuff...mountain biking, dining, hiking, trips into Taos, etc. Grill was fully supplied with propane, and outside was great for grilling which we did twice. The master room is a little tight, but it worked fine for us. The kids enjoyed playing table tennis in the garage area, and the upstairs bunk room has ample bedding to accommodate a large group of kiddos. It was a good stay! Recommend this listing & host!

We are from the DFW area, but Angel Fire is our home away from home. Our family of five loves the outdoors and all the activities Angel Fire has to offer so we bought and renovated this cabin to make family memories and hope you will too. We first fell in love with Angel Fire when we brought our family to ski. It was so convenient to get skis, get kids to ski school and get on the lift for a full day of snow fun compared to other places we had visited. Skiing was actually fun and not work! Then, we visited in the summer and fell in love with the amazing summer weather and the abundant summer activities the area has to offer. We hope you love the area and home as much as we do!
Why they chose this property
When we saw this property and its location we fell in love! We couldn't believe it was just blocks from the Chile Express ski lift (or Cougar shuttle stop if you don't want to walk the couple of blocks). We leave our skis and boots in the ski lockers at the Angel Fire Resort base, walk to there in the morning, put on our skis and then jump on the lift! So easy! And then after a long day of skiing we can easily walk to El Jefe, Pizza Stop (you have to try their garlic rolls) or Mikuna grill. Or if we want to get in the car, we can hop on over to Lowe's grocery (literally down the street), Angel Fire Pizza, Mi Cocina, Elements or the other restaurants in Angel Fire. Of course, many times we just head home and cook something. So, we wanted a well-appointed kitchen and renovated and outfitted it with everything needed to prepare a good meal. We have a waffle iron because our middle son loves to make waffles!
When we bought the home, it definitely had an 80's vibe! A lot of Angel Fire homes can be a bit dated, but we renovated and furnished the cabin to bring it into the new century for our family's and our guests' enjoyment. We even put in central AC and heat b/c being from Texas, no AC makes us nervous!
We have set up this property with everything our family and guests want when they are staying in a rental home so we believe you will be pleased by the amenities, quality of bedding, etc... when you stay at our cabin. This isn't just a business to us, but our second home so we treat it as such and make sure it is clean and maintained. We know you are coming to make memories and want a comfortable and well-appointed home to enjoy. So much work went into making this cabin a home and we hope you love it like we do.
What makes this property unique
- Proximity to Angel Fire resort and restaurants. We are one of a handful of single family homes this close to the Chile Express Lift! - High speed internet - we had fiber laid directly to the home. - Central Heat & AC - Fully renovated - Modern and comfortable furnishings - Exterior closet to store your skis and boots - Three decks to enjoy the mountain views - Beverage cooler - Smart TVs in every bedroom - Laundry Room with full size washer and dryer
Coming soon... - Garage will be a game room
