The ski slopes were fairly easy to access. We had to Walk down very steep hill or up the road. The house was wonderful! We did have an issue with the hot water, but the host was very responsive and called a plumber to get us back in hot water!
Most rental houses use fancy pics and angles to make the house look like it’s more than it really is. Not the case here! This place was fantastic! We had 10 adults and 3 kids and there were still a few empty beds. This house is almost at the same elevation as the top of the Chili Express. Exit the lift and ski a few hundred yards to the trail to the cabin. The view from the top deck is the best on the mountain and the view from the bottom deck is from the hot tub and it felt so great after a long day on the mountain. I must also mention that the host was very accommodating as well. I recommend this house for a great family vacation!
The home is located in a wonderful setting near the top of Agua Fria Mt. Nice property with plenty of amenities, great view, friendly host with great communication :)
This is a great house! There is plenty of room and it was super clean! The heated floors are amazing. And the master bathroom is luxurious. The location is at the very top of the mountain! The view is amazing! The skiing and ski out is a little iffy. It’s more like a hike and hike out or climbing climb out. The only thing that would make this VRBO better would be easier access to the run. There was nothing that we needed that wasn’t easily accessible or available to us. We even grilled out one night. The host was amazing and she was always available when we had questions.
We had the greatest trip. We had our largest group to date and the house was perfect for everyone. Plenty of room and space for the entire group. The location was awesome and the view from the property was amazing. And I can’t say enough good things about our host, Tania! She was very helpful! She made booking so easy and was very prompt to respond and checked periodically to ensure we had everything we needed. We loved everything about our stay and we cannot wait to return!! Thanks again, from the Reynolds!!
The home was beautiful and exactly as advertised in photos. It is very well taken care of with lots of extras that really set it apart…like the boot dryer/warmer, abundance of throw blankets, dedicated hot tub towels and ski’s and snowboard holders. The host Tania, was very attentive and responded quickly to all communication. Unfortunately, we had a few hiccups. I would never have mentioned if it was 1 alone. Our confirmation stated check in was 3:00. We arrived at 3:20 after an 8 hour drive and the cleaning lady was not very nice when she told us that check in isn’t until 4:00 and we could come back then. The host called us and apologized. We left and returned an hour later. First night hot tub temperature was 67 degrees after attempting to heat for an hour and 1/2. Host notified us the next day that it had been drained and refilled that day. It was up to temp for the remainder of trip. There are 2 Keurig’s in the kitchen, neither one worked. There was a fancy expresso machine, but we weren’t sure how to use it. The final night of our trip, the septic system backed up in laundry room, flooding 1/2 of the downstairs with disgusting sewer water. The smell was horrendous. I notified the host and she said she would have the plumbers over the next day. I attempted to relay that with 10 of us in the house, we needed a working restroom and needed to be able to use running water. She asked us to not flush toilets. We went 17 hours without water or toilets.

Thank you for your thoughtful review and for highlighting what you enjoyed about the home—we truly appreciate that. I also want to sincerely apologize for the issues you experienced during your stay. While we’re glad you found the home beautiful and well-equipped, the inconveniences you encountered are not the experience we strive to provide.
First, I’m very sorry for the interaction with our housekeeper at check-in. That is not how we want our guests to be welcomed, especially after a long day of travel. We’ve addressed this directly to ensure future guests are treated with the courtesy and professionalism they deserve.
We also appreciate your feedback regarding the coffee setup. We will be adding clear instructions for the espresso machine and replacing the Keurig units so guests have simple, reliable options moving forward.
Most importantly, I want to extend a sincere apology for the septic issue you experienced on your final night. I understand how disruptive and uncomfortable that situation must have been, especially with a full group in the home. We did attempt to get assistance as quickly as possible, but given our remote location, response times can unfortunately be delayed. That said, we recognize this does not lessen the impact on your stay, and we are truly sorry for the inconvenience and frustration it caused.
We genuinely appreciate your feedback, as it helps us improve, and we hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a much smoother and more enjoyable experience in the future.
The home was just as beautiful if not more beautiful than the photos. The views are breathtaking. The hosts are very kind and accommodating. The house is beautifully appointed. They literally thought of everything! We arrived during the snowfall which was magical. There is significantly more snow at this property than other properties lower down the mountain which means, they are NOT messing when they say you need a 4x4 to access the property. Our first night we got both vehicles stuck down the hill in the driveway and had a very difficult time getting my Bronco Wildtrak out of the driveway. Thanks to their snow plow and tracks we were able to get it out, but I didn’t dare take it back down. We found the path to the run to be a bit more climb in climb out than ski in and out, but you are literally within sight of the run. And again I think it was due to a significant amount of snow and it’s nothing that couldn’t be fixed with some regular “snow paving” on that path. All in all it really was a 10/10 home. I would go back in a heartbeat, but I would go a bit better prepared for the mountain life!
We loved this place! Plenty of room for our family ski trip. It is more of climb up/climb down from the ski run so be prepared for that. If you’re wearing ski boots and carrying skis it is a workout for sure! But that did not affect our trip because we were told that in other reviews. Plenty of space and modern amenities. The views are AMAZING! The host was very quick to answer and questions we had.
