Come and completely relax in this comfortably rustic three-bedroom home perched on a bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean on the scenic, storied Mendocino Coast. Located on a quiet, gated road ideally situated West of famed California Highway One, this cozy retreat is perfect for a family vacation, a weekend with friends, or a romantic getaway.
A beautiful eight mile drive from the historic village of Mendocino, this is the perfect home base for wine tasting, beach combing, kayaking, hiking, biking or shopping. Simply relaxing is fine, too, and you will find the peaceful setting and sea air perfect for sipping a local wine on the expansive porch, soaking in the private hot tub, or reading that book you've been trying to find time for. Treat yourself to the many fine local restaurants, or stay in and create a gourmet meal of your own in the fully equipped kitchen.
Each of the three bedrooms feature brand-new luxury pillow-top Queen-size bedsets. There are two bathrooms; one featuring a vintage claw-foot tub perfect for a warm bath, and the other a double shower. All linens are of course provided, as well as an assortment of games, jigsaw puzzles and books to enjoy. Relax or be inspired; it's up to you!

The house is perfectly situated for a drive into Mendocino, hiking, and wine tasting. The house is spacious with the kitchen well stocked for cooking. Enjoying the sunset from the hot tub on the deck is the end to a perfect day.

Our family had an amazing time here! The home was clean, cozy and very well stocked with basic necessities. The location and view from the patio are hard to beat. We got to watch several sunsets and do some whale watching with binoculars for the hot tub / patio. Would 100% stay here again.

The perfect getaway! Got to watch the sunset, enjoy both warmer and foggier days, and spectacular views of the ocean. No issues with bringing our dog either. Also, for the one thing we needed, we had great communication from host.

What an amazing and beautiful property! Just loved it! It was so comfortable and every whim one might dream up was thought of. The kitchen was so well stocked, the beds dreamy and the view to die for. The location was perfect with so many spectacular spots near, but always a delight to come home to after a long day of sightseeing. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

We (four people and a dog) stayed in this home for 3 nights and would absolutely stay again! There was plenty of room for everyone, the furniture and beds were very comfortable, kitchen well stocked with appliances, etc that you’d need, close proximity to exploring Mendocino & Fort Bragg and incredible views.

This location exceeded my expectations. The kitchen was well set up (three sizes of cast-iron skillets--heaven!), the view was perfect, and we had four folks on a writing retreat with plenty of space to meet all together or work separately. And stargazing in the hot tub at night with the waves crashing in the distance was just a delight. Great stay!

Cute house with everything we needed for our stay! Very nice and peaceful location in the gated community. The only thing need to mention is that tap water had some residues ( probably iron as it had orange shade) but we are glad that house had several gallons of purified water from the grocery store so we could use it for drinking and cooking.

Great location. Quiet and safe. Very comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen and lovely view of the ocean. Stephen was a very responsive host. Great place to bring your dog! Mendocino drive under 15 minutes. Great beaches nearby for people and dogs. Will definitely return to stay here.

My wife and I have long enjoyed the Mendocino Coast and visited frequently as weekend get-aways. We were fortunate to meet many locals and eventually locate a home for sale that we fell in love with.

What makes this property unique

Our favorite feature of this vacation home is how utterly relaxing it is. Even when we visit with all intentions to accomplish work away from work, the relaxation gene kicks in unexpectedly, and all tensions or stress from our work-a-day life melt away.
