Great Little Apartment

My husband, daughter, and I came to visit my son who is stationed in Arlington. The listing looked great and we had a very easy time getting things arranged. This was my first time using VRBO and our contact, Jay, walked me through all the steps. The apartment was lovely; very clean and comfortable. We only had 2 small issues. There were only 3 towels- but they got us more right away, and the little Keurig didn't work- but there was a Starbucks nearby. Definitely will see about getting this again when we come back up to visit!

Great place to stay

The condo is exactly as depicted. Plenty of comfortable sleeping (even on the couch), a nice size bathroom, well stocked kitchen (plates, cups, cooking and eating utensils, pots, pans and glasses), Keurig, coffee maker, fridge with ice maker, dishwasher, disposal. Large capacity stacked washer/dryer, good lighting and very good AC (we were comfortable over July 4th week). Metro station is a few blocks west down Eisenhower Ave and plenty of nice places to eat within four blocks. There are Wegmans and Whole Foods close by. Driving around is easy in this red brick town. People are friendly and we felt safe during our stay. Parking garage is very nice with key fob entry and elevator access. There’s also parking on the street (current rate is $1/hr or $5/day) all around the building which includes shaded spots. Limerick sports field is behind the building and several people were exercising on the field in the early morning hours. Management was excellent and very responsive. This was definitely a great experience.

Loft in a great location

We stayed here for a week while on vacation in the area. The location was great and we enjoyed walking to dinner and shops in the Eisenhower and Old Town neighborhoods. We also enjoyed the sunsets via the southwest-facing windows, and the lofted bedroom with sunlights. It was our second time staying with Pure Voyage and we will definitely be back again.

Had a good Stay

We had a good stay here. The unit is just like it looks in the listing. It was clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen, plenty of towels and comfortable beds. It's about a 10+ minute walk from the King Street Metro station in a very quiet and safe area.

The location served its purpose. It provided us a place to stay while visiting the DC area

I feel like a little QC work would go a long way to ensure the things that happened to us on our trip won't happen to the next family. The apartment needs a deep cleaning and a true evaluation of the things needing fixed. I honestly don't believe the cleaning crew has kept them informed or maybe they don't care because folks are traveling in and traveling out. When I booked this room I was asked to give a copy of my Credit Card and Drivers License to protect them against chargebacks. I thought that was odd. However - I wonder if the chargebacks received may have been due to what the traveler experienced when they arrived. I have to be honest at first I was impressed, I received a "welcome/introduction" call the day we were scheduled to arrive. A contact name and number was given if I needed anything. When we got there the room had been smoked in and wasn't clean-no. I called and a crew was sent over. Well then we didn't have enough towels, the toilet handle was broke, the dryer didn't dry, the trash can lid was broken in the kitchen, no dish towels.
