The cabin was everything it was advertised to be. Clean, large rooms, stocked kitchen and great location located creekside. The property was easy to find based on good directions from the owner. Owner was very quick in responding to questions. We will definitely rent this cabin again in the future.
Beautiful and well-equipped home for a multi-generational long weekend visit. We loved the creek, hot tub, fire pit and a walk in the adjunct nature preserve.
The home was wonderful and the host was amazing! The home was thoughtfully stock with everything we needed and so much more. I can't say enough about being right next to the creek and it's peaceful surroundings. It was very convenient to Blue Ridge and other locations with many things to see and do. Excellent experience overall! Would stay again!
When I say this was the best cabin we’ve stayed in, I mean it! It was amazing! Every little detail was thought of. We will definitely stay here again!!
We had a great stay overall at the place. The accommodations were wonderful. The place is very clean and it wasn’t far from town. We would definitely stay again.
This was our favorite north Georgia mountain VRBO cabin by far! It was very nice, wonderfully decorated, the creek was great, hot tub was great, the porch was amazing, the Sleep Number bed was nice, plenty of hot water for 4 people, the internet was adequate…I could go on and on. The property owner (Emily) was an absolute amazing hostess!!! I can’t say enough about her hospitality!! I sent her an email at 4:00am hoping she would get it the next morning but she took it right then and proceeded to talk with me all night long! Book this cabin!! You won’t regret it!
The cabin and property were perfect for us! The cabin is very well stocked, clean, and inviting. The kids played in the creek all day. Every morning I would sit in the swing, drink my coffee, and listen to the creek.
Emily was fantastic! Loved the cabin, she went so far above and beyond with all the little details and comfort. Was extremely responsive and even took care of having a sick raccoon nearby removed. Can't say enough good things. Loved location on creek, has privacy and lots of space outside. Great experience, will be back!
This is the second time my family has escaped to this beautiful home for a brief vacation. We come here when we want to connect with each other, with nature, and with the Creator. The river's white noise is soothing at night, and the nearby trail is easily accessible. And the new hot tub was nice! You won't regret staying here.
The sounds from the creek while sitting out on the porch was the most relaxing part! The kids played on the porch and hung out with us but also had their own areas to retreat to. The property backed up to a preserve and we took afternoon walks with the dogs, it was perfect! Far enough away from everything to feel secluded but still close enough to downtown Blue Ridge to enjoy all the small shops and restaurants!
My wife and I traveled to the area to participate in the Blue Ridge Parade of Homes. We found this nice wooded cabin that was close to town. Manager was very communicative and there to answer any questions we had. Enjoyed the inside fireplace once I figured out how to open the flue (it was hidden by the screen). Cabin has everything you will need.
This cabin was perfect for our family of six (and fur baby). It was one of the most well-stocked rentals we have ever stayed in (soap, shampoo, detergent, dryer sheets, endless towels, etc). My kids loved playing and tubing in the creek on the property. It was so peaceful and secluded, but also conveniently located near downtown Blue Ridge. We would love to return. The host was great and check-in/out was a breeze. If you are stuck between a few cabin options for your vacation, pick this one! You won’t regret it.
Creekhaven Cabin was everything we needed and more for our short stay during Spring Break. It was beautifully decorated and very welcoming. I loved the modern touches while still being cozy. Everything you could ever need for cooking family meals was available. Super clean cabin as well. All bedding was beautiful as well. Wifi was perfect and very reliable for everyone. The outside was amazing and just wish it had been warmer for us, even with the cold, we ventured out and enjoyed the awesome creek, my two boys even went in the water, can only imagine in the summer time! Also worth mentioning, the location was great, far enough from town to feel secluded, yet close enough to just venture in for a quick trip. Loved it and really can't wait to go back! Thanks!!

Thank you for the review and choosing to stay at our cabin, Carolina! It was such a pleasure hosting you and your family. We look forward to having you back anytime!
Had a super relaxing trip for Christmas with the family. The cabin was beautiful, super clean, well appointed. Everything was thought of. We even found a sofa cover for dogs in the storage ottoman, knowing its a pet friendly cabin. We happily used it to protect the sofa. The porch and hottub were a true joy to hang out in. The layout of the cabin was perfect for our family. Stream was great outside for the atmosphere. Super quiet area. The host was excellent. Gave clear communication and even instructions on how to access adjoining hiking trails. I could go on and on. My wife wanted to see if its possible to buy the place. If you're looking for a great cabin to get away from it all, that is still only 10-15 minutes from apple orchards and downtown Blue Ridge, this is your place.
Wow! Gorgeous property, inside and out. Perfect location next to Fightingtown Creek. Good Internet even reaches out to the swinging bench next to the stream and to the fire pit surrounded by tree-stump seats and picnic table. We walked to the nature trail twice on our stay (went clockwise one time, counter-clockwise the other). (It is a moderately difficult trail! There might be easier trails but you'd have to drive to them.) The patio is great, with a TV and foosball table and dining tables, all protected with a light mesh. We were there over Memorial Day Weekend, so the weather was perfect. We drove into Blue Ridge downtown a few times to enjoy some dog-friendly restaurants and the Art in the Park Festival. This is the perfect Blue Ridge area accommodation. (I had no cell service the whole time, but our intent was to escape the modern world for a few days... Plus, we had the wifi, so it wasn't a problem getting email and messaging other friends and family!) We didn't want to leave! Can't wait to go back...
We had a great 8 night stay at this property - two adults and two 14 year old girls.
The cabin was very well appointed - lots of kitchen items, trash bags, ziplocs, oils and spices, towels, soaps, paper towels, board games, etc.... it's rare for a cabin to be so turn key. Thank you to the hosts for providing so much!
The location was great - 15 minutes to downtown Blue Ridge, yet very private. There are one or two cabins that you can sort of view while outdoors, but they weren't loud and either were we. We saw more than 20 deer plus a handful of wild turkeys. Know that this property is deep in the forest so bugs and critters are everywhere - the host even had bug spray available!
The cabin had a great AC unit which helped in the hot/humid week we had while staying. The upstairs still got a bit warm but box fans were available. The downstairs was freezing - we loved it. We enjoyed the fire pit a couple nights but the bugs and rain kept us inside many nights.
Two minor inaccuracies from the listing - the pictures show both a hammock and a griddle-top grill. We couldn't find a hammock, and the griddle grill is now a standard grill. Not a big deal - and the newer hot tub with screened in gazebo was a big hit with the teenagers! Also not listed - the cabin DOES have a carbon monoxide and smoke detector.
Our only suggestion would be to add a TV to the master bedroom -the lack of one did not diminish our stay at all. Overall we were super impressed with this property and host!

Thanks so much for your review, Wayne! We are so happy you and your family enjoyed your stay at our cabin. Based on your helpful comments, we have updated the listing to show that we do have those safety features in the home that you mentioned (carbon monoxide & smoke detectors). We do apologize about the griddle photo/description- our griddle had to be replaced recently and so we’ve now updated the listing to show we do have a 6-burner grill in its place. Also, we are so sorry you all were unable to find the hammock! It is located on the back porch for guests to take outdoors and hang from the trees. Guests are welcome to reach out at any point during their stay if they are unable to locate something and we will be happy to assist. Again, we really appreciate your comments and wanted to let you know we have addressed your feedback promptly. We hope to have you and your family back for a future stay!
