This was a very disappointing stay. The home was not clean upon arrival—there was noticeable dust throughout, and we had to clean areas ourselves just to feel comfortable. A child in our group even got a splinter from the interior flooring, which raises serious concerns about maintenance and safety.The outdoor space was not usable. There were excessive spider webs, large spiders, and even large beetles throughout the area. We also had to remove a snake from the yard ourselves, which was extremely unsettling and not something guests should have to deal with.The home was also not well-equipped for a longer stay. There was no washer or dryer, the kitchen had only minimal items, and some basic conveniences were lacking (for example, an ice maker but no water dispenser). There were also maintenance issues inside, including a light in the upper bedroom that did not work and a shower door that would not close properly.The most concerning issue was the hot tub. After very minimal, normal use, the water turned green and developed foam—clear signs it was not properly maintained. Despite this, the host attempted to hold us responsible and charged 450, which we strongly dispute.Communication with the host was also frustrating. Despite prior discussions, the situation was handled in a way that felt misleading and unprofessional, particularly when additional fees were pursued without clear justification.Overall, the cleanliness, maintenance, and handling of this situation were n

This guest replied to me after I asked how the first day was ….”that everything was wonderful. She loved the house and everything about it.” However, when they were charged for leaving the hot tub looking like a swamp, she retaliated and made up a dozen different things that were falsified as retribution to her having to pay for the damages she left behind. She offered no proof no photos just pure nonsense. Fact of the matter is she did have to pay for cleaning the hot tub but other than that I let her off the hook for having extra guest and leaving the house a mess.Please look at the other reviews and you’ll notice that what she has to say is completely false.

Perfect location

This property was ideal for our niece’s wedding at Gerry Ranch. Having five bedrooms allowed six adults and two children to live easily together. We really enjoyed the view and outdoor spaces too.

We enjoyed our stay at Stacey's home. It was in the perfect location for us to visit our sons. The house is warm and the space is well used. Stacey is a great host with excellent communication! We look forward to staying here again in the future!

This home was very well kept, and fit the needs of our large family very well. Large living areas and eating area. Kids had a great time outside playing on the mini-golf green.

We needed a home close to family to attend a memorial. This house was exactly as listed. The location was perfect for us. The house was clean and comfortable - and very nice. Communication with Stacey was very easy and she was incredibly responsive. Would definitely recommend it to others!!

Thanksgiving!

This home was the perfect place for our family to stay and celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday together. The home was located just minutes from our local family and close to great restaurants, shopping and outdoor activities including pickleball courts and hiking trails. The host allowed us to invite some additional family for Thanksgiving dinner which was all prepared in the large and well equipped kitchen. There were plenty of places to be within the house and lots of fun activities to enjoy in the backyard. We look forward to staying there again!

We could not have been more delighted with the home; stunning views and great location.

The home was spotless and comfortable, with a great backyard and deck. The pre-rental support and service by the manager was above and beyond. The home was perfectly located with easy access to the Reagan Presidential Library, a beautiful scenic drive to Camarillo, Westlake Village, Sherwood CC, the Getty Villa, and the beach. We could not have been more delighted.

Wonderful House for a Get Together

Several friends (who turned 60 in 2024) met at this house to get together after many years apart. This house is in a great location--it's quiet, but close enough to stores, restaurants, parks, and lakes. A couple of us also walk in the morning--great walking paths, sidewalks and hills for a good workout. The house is super comfortable, good amenities (jacuzzi, putting green with putters and balls, nice outdoor grill, etc), lots of outdoor sitting and entertaining space. The rooms are well appointed with very comfortable furniture and lots of space. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend this house. Stacey was fantastic--very responsive--we had a little trouble getting the lockbox open--b/c we're old and had to try it a few times :-), and she was "instantaneous response". If we're back in the area, I'd definitely get this house again.

I have two in Thousand Oaks, where I live myself. This is an amazing town, close to beaches, shopping, not too far from LAX, Hollywood and other Southern California attractions.
I also have two properties in Big Bear California offering historic cabins for your mountain stay. Big Bear California is a Four Season resort town. I love the mountains they are my peaceful place.
