Wonderful family reunion and graduation destination. The Jesse Buel farmhouse is beautifully renovated with spacious bedrooms and high-end bathrooms. We enjoyed the large well equipped kitchen, seating areas and pool and the collection of eclectic and whimsical artwork. Tom was a great very responsive host.
We really enjoyed the location of the property and the property itself is such a gem. Spotless, so much history, and interesting decor everywhere you look! The kids loved finding the squishmallows all over the place!
The house was a wonderful gathering place for a family get together. We spent most of our time in the kitchen talking and enjoying meals. Everyone fit around the large kitchen island. This space allowed a group of people to sit together, talk, and actually see and hear each other. The appliances were outstanding: two dishwashers, 6 burner stove with griddle, and large refrigerator. Lots of pans, dishes, and various small appliances!! Outside, the beautiful slate covered patio was the other place that people sat and talked. Lots of seating with the table and many chairs. The pool was clean & inviting! We made use of the cooler and pool toys. The bubble wands were enjoyed by all---both young and old. It was very helpful to have a washer & dryer on site. Tom quickly communicated with us and answered all of our questions. He did everything to make our time in his home easy and relaxing. A Super Host!!
From start to finish we all LOVED our time on this property. Offers literally everything you could want and Thomas was a true pleasure to deal with. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a nice getaway. Truly a five star experience.
The house is amazing ! We were doing an extended family trip so everyone could meet the new baby in the family who lives locally. Thomas the host is attentive and very responsive .
Had a guys trip to Saratoga, loved our stay! Plenty of room for all of us to hang out and relax, pool was extremely refreshing. The attic/upstairs area made for a perfect spot to watch the olympics and play cards. Tons of space for all of us to have somewhere to sleep. Very modern, clean house.
Just as described but better, fantastic house with everything you need and more. Host is very responsive and courteous. This house has great rooms and the kitchen is huge with Wolf appliances, we fed 12 people easily at the island with plenty of room for more. The pool and. Hot tub are large with more than enough seating. The house is full of unique art and the location is great. We had a great time and will book again if we are in the area.
If you are looking for a place in the Albany area for a group of friends / family, this is it. The host was incredibly responsive and really opened his house for us. Plenty of room to relax, hang out, play pool, etc. The kitchen has everything you can think of, and the bathrooms are like what you would experience at a high end hotel. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate for us, so we were not really able to use the outside much. That said, it has a great set up as the pictures indicate. The house also has a an eclectic / whimsical / humorous collection of artwork, which was an added bonus. We would definitely stay there again.
We had a fantastic stay! The house is full of personality, charm, and character. One of our favorite things was the quirky and interesting artwork and décor throughout the home—it felt like walking through a fun museum, with something unique to discover around every corner. The house itself was an experience, not just a place to stay. The yard and pool are beautiful and provide a perfect place to relax. Every area of the property has its own special feel, making it both welcoming and memorable. The host was wonderful, and we would absolutely stay here again.
