The location of this large unit is perfect for skiing. There is an underground garage to load and unload your gear. Luggage carts to bring your luggage up to the room and an indoor pool with hot tub.
The view is amazing looking at the runs on Keystone and its about 3 minute drive to River Run or Mountain House. Thoroughly enjoyed it, would stay there again
Quick ride to Keystone with the kids. Easy ride to Breck as well. Note that you can call and get your passcode from the management company instead of having to drive to their office. We had a great time for the kids first trip to ski in the mountains!

Good location, condo needs some TLC.
Furniture, carpet, cabinets showing their age. Mattresses and tables as well. Location was fine.

River Run location…….NOT
This property, Gateway Lodge, is old, but is still in good condition. Pool & hot tub need updating. Our unit #5085 was very nice, end unit with nice views. Our biggest issue was the location. Seymour Lodging description makes it sound like they are close enough to River Run Gondola to walk…… no way. Must take a shuttle, which they don’t mention in description.
If you want to stay in River Run Gondola area don’t book this place.

The description says the building is "near River Run Village," which is accurate. There's also a MAP link on the listing showing the PRECISE location. It's a 5 min. walk into the Village (or you can hop on the free shuttle), but for skiing you have to walk through the village to get to the gondola on the east side. (Being close to the gondola for the next 2-3 years is not ideal, since aside from being far more expensive there's a huge construction project there--three 5-story buildings going up.) Much less congested at Gateway, far more panoramic view, and still within walking distance of River Run shops, restaurants, and other activities.
We rented this great condo because we were doing a race at Keystone. After riding all day in Keystone we had to drive to an office location in Dillon to get the garage and door code. At a time when gas is over $5 per gallon, this procedure seems really inefficient. I’m not sure why this couldn’t be done via the app or email. The condo itself was in a great location and very comfortable. Just consider the check in procedure when booking.

We're glad to see the guest really enjoyed this unit. CHECK-IN: All a guest has to do is CALL us in the afternoon to ask for the door code. 95% of our guests are driving right past our office, which means it takes less than a minute to get the arrival packet and then head on to Keystone. Occasionally, a group like this will already be in Keystone during the day. In that case a phone call (970/262-5971) can get the door code immediately and save a trip to the office. (We can't give out the door code in ADVANCE because we need to make sure the unit has been cleaned, sanitized, and inspected prior to the guest's arrival.)

Great place for smaller group
The good: The condo space was clean. We had direct and easy communication with manager. In unit Washer/Dryer is a plus. No problems with the function of anything while there. The amount of beds is a bit misleading with how many people the space can accommodate. Yes, there were many beds and three bathrooms, but it's a pretty tight space and has very large furniture in the living room. Also, be forewarned, the fridge is smaller than standard size.Parking was difficult. Even though we had a vehicle to park, there were times we couldn't find parking at night as the garage was full the 3rd week of March, and cars were stacked outside.
Enjoyed our stay. The location was great with close access to the village and also for skiing. We also really enjoyed the garage parking and the indoor pool and hot tub. The condo itself was cozy and serviced our family well. The Mountain views were also fantastic.
Would definitely do again. Kitchen was stocked. Place was clean. Proximity was great. Could definitely hold a large group! Stopping for a piece of paper to check in was unnecessary.
Loved the unit we stayed in. Great for a large group with plenty of beds and bathrooms. The building itself is starting to show its age a bit though. Pool and hottub were okay but not anything special. Checkin process was strange, had to stop at another building but didn’t get anything other than instructions and codes that could have been emailed to us directly. Would also be reasonable for a large group renting a large unit like this could get 2 parking spaces. Living room chairs are very comfortable! Kitchen was well stocked!!
Very clean and accommodating. We had 6 adults and two babies. They supplied pac-n-plays for both babies as well as a high chair. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. We cooked every night. The parking was very convenient. It was nice to have the car in the garage. We ended up driving skiers to the gondola just because it was easier and only took 3 minutes. There is a shuttle right out the front door that came every 30 minutes . The shuttle was a 5 minute ride to the village and then you had to walk through the village, which was also pretty convenient. Taking the shuttle back home at the end of the day was not so convenient. Had to wait on shuttle at the village and then we were the last stop which meant 25 minutes on the shuttle. That's why we opted to have someone just drive over since it was so close. Then we could be on our own time schedule, especially with babies schedules to manage. I would highly recommend .
We stayed here for Christmas 2021 for 8 days and absolutely loved our stay. The condo was clean and spacious for the 4 of us, and had gorgeous views of the mountain and some of the ski runs. The kitchen is well stocked with the main things, including pots and pans and baking sheets. Our teenagers went to the pool once and enjoyed it. If we plan to go back to Keystone, we would absolutely stay here again.
There are a few things to know that we wish we would have known before checking in. It wouldn't have made us stay somewhere else, but just good to know:
1. The entrance to the parking garage is only 6'9". We have a big Yukon that I don't think would have fit in general, but we had a roof box on it so it definitely couldn't go in. The extra parking outside is limited, and we had to move our car a few times as spots opened.
2. The shuttle to River Run only runs from this location between 8a-5p. If you want to go to dinner, you'll either do the ~10 minute walk (in the cold and snow wasn't fun), or drive over. The good news is River Run has free parking, and at night the parking lot is pretty empty.
3. You have to stop by the property management office to get your key at check-in, but the key is a digital code on a piece of paper with some other basic building info. That could be an email and would be nice so you don't have to make the extra stop, but it isn't out of the way - just wasn't efficient.
4. The sports bar on the listing is now a breakfast/lunch spot. It was delicious, but not open for dinner, so if you don't feel like cooking, you have to leave the building. There is a small grocery store/market/liquor store downstairs, so you can get some basics there.
We were very pleased with the location as it was an easy walk to almost everything we wanted to do. The condo was spacious so we had enough room for our family of 6. Our check-in was smooth and communication with Richard was always easy. We would stay here again.
This unit was in an excellent location and had beautiful views. The property manager was always available and responsive. Our only issue was with the unit's upkeep. There were multiple windows that wouldn't close or open all of the way, screens that needed to be replaced and some other minor repairs are also needed. The owner of the unit was able to provide some cleaning while we were there, but the more major repairs should take place post occupancy. Assuming those repairs occur, we'd stay here again.
The condo was perfect! From the views of the mountains from every window, to the overall location, the cleanliness of the rooms, we were very happy with our stay. We plan on staying here in the near future!
We needed an accessible place to stay in Keystone for a family wedding and the condo was perfect.
It was open and roomy. The walk in shower worked well for my son.
We enjoyed the pool and the hot tub after a day of hiking and sightseeing.
We were close to restaurants and the beautiful Dillon reservoir.
I would definitely stay here again.
This is a nice townhouse it accommodated my family of 9 comfortably. Well stocked kitchenware and toiletries. Close a couple of restaurants, liquor store, outdoor rental equipments.
Couple of problems that I had with my stay are, broken kitchen faucet handle, some auto screen windows was not oppositional, and clogged bath tub. These problems I'm sure would have been taken cared of if I requested, but because of my short stay I did bother asking. I would recommend and would return.
Everything was nice and clean, and there were actually more ammenities than we expected (like a washer and dryer with a couple soap packs, and all the soaps, shampoos, lotions etc.). It did seem to be missing a cutting board in the kitchen, and we only found 1 futon bed, but those were easy to work around. The location is very close to River Run (second time we stayed in this building) so you can walk or take a quick shuttle. You do have to take 2 different buses to get to the Mountain House side. Overall we had a great stay!
