Was a great location just right for our large family. The only issue we had was that the cabin seem to be infested with flies. They were up high, so they didn’t bother us terribly much, except in the children sleeping area. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay and we would come back.
I've stayed at this ranch 3 times now and always a great experience! We enjoyed this ranch with extended family and came back on a girl trip! The Ranch is peaceful, watching the morning sunrise, sipping coffee and watching the horses come up from pasture. Many memories made here and would come back again and again!
The host was great at answering my questions . Cabin was as pictured had everything needed for an enjoyable stay fire wood readily available, grill clean and ready , was amazing views recommended 10 out of 10
Our stay was amazing, we stayed from 2/5-2/10. Heat worked great and place was clean and very close to town. Would highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again.
Our cabin was just as advertised. It wasn't fancy but it was everything we needed. The beds were comfy. Lovely location. There were a lot of dead flies in the cabin, though (it is on a ranch). Otherwise, we had a wonderful experience.
Location and size of cabin was perfect!! Beds and living room seating were very uncomfortable and there were a lot of flies in cabin !! Probably would stay there again just because of the location!!
We enjoyed the location as a great central point for all the Black Hills sites. The cabin was a nice size for our family of four, with beautiful surroundings. It was clean with comfortable beds and furniture. We would stay here again if returning to the Black Hills.
Great location. Peaceful, scenic valley and out of the way from all the tourism in Hill City. A few things would make the cabin much more comfortable would be to invest in good beds and better sofa seating.
We loved our stay at the Canyon Wren! It was just right for us. It was clean and cozy. Loved the community feel and the short drive to Hill City. Was close to trails and attractions. The 2 decks was perfect for outdoor seating. Thank you for a great experience.
Great location between Spearfish Canyon and Custer State Park. The cabin was cozy and clean, and everything worked as expected. We spent more time outside than in. Michelle was responsive and flexible, and made our stay very enjoyable. Thanks again,
Tony
The cabin was very clean and has a lovely location. The only thing that was disappointing was the lack of storage for clothes. There were no closets or wardrobes to hang clothes in.
Very clean, I would stay again. A couple things that could be improved, outside lighting, bed comfort. The beds were hard, and there was no outside street lights, the one at the end of the road was burnt out. Its great for star gazing. 😁
