Other Things to Note:
Please note that Rough River Lake has variable water levels throughout the year. The water level typically reaches summer pool in April and stays there until October 15. The water level is much lower from late October until early spring. There are still plenty of lake activities to enjoy while the water is at winter pool. Some of our guests enjoy fishing, hiking the banks, metal detecting, canoeing and kayaking to name a few. If you’d like to spend some time in the lake bed please make sure you stay below the “red line” which is marked by red paint on some of the trees. Anything below the “red line” is considered government property and intended for public use.
We ask that guests keep noise levels down for the neighbors after 10 pm.
Please care for our cabin as if it were your own.
If you are trailering a boat please note that it can be difficult to turn around on our road. Call Nicks Boat Dock for accommodations.
