Modern cabin meets a historical feel in this wonderful new 2 bedroom, two bath log cabin only 15 minutes to West Jefferson City and 25 minutes to Boone, NC! Take in the mountain views from practically every angle inside or outside! Located in a quiet private setting you may never want to leave! The location is truly spectacular!

A picturesque mountain escape awaits at this charming 2-bedroom, 2-bath cabin! Boasting a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious outdoor area, and striking vistas right outside your door, this vacation rental is the ideal spot for a romantic retreat or a weekend getaway with friends. Hike The Summit Trail, go rafting or tubing, visit the Appalachian Mountain Brewery or soak in North Carolina’s natural springs. Afterwards, return home to unwind on one of many porches and share quality time with loved ones.
House Rules and Terms

No smoking of any kind indoors (if smoking outside, please be extremely careful, and ensure the cigarette/cigar is disposed of safely), no parties or gatherings, no pets, and all guests must be noted on the reservation. Failure to abide by the house rules may result in the forfeiture of the deposit.

The Host is not responsible for accidents, injuries, or illness that occur while on the premises or its facilities. The Host is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guests. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premises.

Keep the property and all furnishings in good order and only use appliances for their intended uses.

We allow children with the following stipulations:
-Guests are responsible for any and all necessary "baby proofing"
-Children under the age of 13 must be supervised by an adult at all times

The place is adorable and we enjoyed our stay. The only negative was that there were a ton of dead flies throughout the interior. Apparently it is a problem in the area right now but a quick cleaning visit prior to a check in would go a long way.

Fabulous stay

This is a beautiful home, great views, very relaxing. We had a wonderful time. Communication was so quick. We enjoyed being here very much. Only thing I would change is a portable air conditioner for the summer.

I am truly blown away that you did not give a 5 star review because of "a dropout of communication". Especially after I went out of my way to allow you an early check in. All messages were answered in a very timely manner except one about checking out that was actually answered very quickly just not before you checked out.

We were making a last minute trip in the depth of winter to visit our daughter, son-in-law, and grandkids in Boone and stumbled upon this property (New Years 2025). Wanted to find a property that wasn't too far off the the main road (NC 194) and this fit the bill although it was further outside of Boone than we're accustomed to.This place is lovely and with really nice views. If you like to cook, this had the most well-equipped kitchen we've seen among rentals in the area.As I mentioned, it's 30 minutes out from Boone but only 20 minutes or so from West Jefferson which is a nice little town with other food destination options.The owner's communication was exemplary. We're interested in revisiting this property in warmer weather.All in all, can't recommend this property enough. Bravo.

Spectacular property

Very difficult to find if arriving late. Property had not been cleaned on arrival, beds unmade, towels on floor and stained bedding. Excellent fast response from owner and total refund with no issues, but had to change beds and clean property ourselves, very disappointing. Property itself was outstanding and views spectacular. Well stocked cabin, couldnt get fire to work but cabin was cozy and warm. Would definately visit again but suggest daylight arrival.

I am so very sorry about the missed cleaning. My cleaning crew has never missed a cleaning but unfortunately they did miss it. The fireplace pilot light must be turned on to use the fireplace. The directions were on one of the side tables. We did give a complete refund on the entire stay due to the missed cleaning. We hope to have you back as a guest again.
