Room for improvement
We’d asked and paid for in advance the pool to be heated during our entire stay. Not only was it not heated, we’d paid for it and we’re told it would be so upon arrival. We were told to “go ahead and turn it on” but the power box had a lock on it so we had to get that code before we could do anything. The pool was not heated until the next day so should be credited for at least one day.
We were given the wrong codes to access the community pool/gym. After asking for the correct code, the person responded very snarkily and sent a screen shot of an email sent to a different person, claiming that it was sent to me. It was not. The email had another person’s name on it.
A king bed comforter was covered with vomit on the underside so we had to wash the linens. There were not nearly enough towels; no kitchen towels.
Our second night there, the pool door alarm went off throughout the night. We contacted the host 5 different times asking for help, without a response. Finally late in the afternoon on the third afternoon, we were able to speak with Milla who gave us instructions (and “permission “) to remove the battery and disable the alarm. Not impressed with the customer service.
Guests show be advised that if they leave the pool/gym area for a few minutes, that they will not be allowed back in ~ even if their families and personal belongings are there ~ because they’ve suddenly reached pool capacity. Needless to say, we did not use the community pool any more after that.
The home was beautiful and comfortable but there were issues. Nevertheless, we had a good family vacation.
