Great Stay

We very much enjoyed the property. Well organized management company make sure we had all the info we needed, so no surprises or issues checking in or out. There were no wash cloths when we got there (other towels were) but one quick text and we had all we needed in no time. I couldn't get the timer to work with the dishwasher, so the owner will need to address that soon, but it seemed to work fine otherwise.

The property was dirty. There were crumbs on counter tops and used plastic silverware left in fridge. The ceiling had mold and dirt by the air vents. The couch looked liked someone had taken greasy pizza hands and wiped all over the arms. It also had various other stains. The dryer took 5 cycles to dry three towels. Several dishes in the cabinets had food stuck to them. One drawer in the bedroom had sticky stuff spilled all over the drawer. I complained to Southern Vacation Rentals and they said they would send someone to fix and address issues, but no one ever came. I asked again later in the week and they said they would forward to property manager. -Should have been addressed on day 1! Avoid this property!!!!

The Condo does not have easy beach access, Plan to take lots of cleaning supplies, trash bags, paper towels, broom and dustpan, we had to buy couch covers for the sofas, nasty and food covered, mattress pad for the bed, after first night, and extra pillows. Plan to wipe food off walls, doors and furniture so you'll use the paper towels and as well as disinfectant wipes, I bought 3, for the bathrooms, makeup on walls, and light switches and doors, sorry it was not what we wanted or expected. VRBO did reimburse our cleaning supplies but they advised us they were limited.

The condo was filthy dirty from floor to ceiling literally. The ceiling was covered in black dust. The smell of expired “fish” the filled the entire condo throughout the entire condo the entire 7 days was terrible! There was hair and dust everywhere when we arrived. The washer and dryer barely worked. The mattresses were so old you could feel every spring poking every part of your body. To say we had zero nights of good sleep while vacationing in this condo is an understatement The couch and loveseat were covered in liquid spots of who knows what. I had to drape a bedsheet over both of them for the week so that we could sit on them. I highly do Not recommend renting this condo!
