About this property
Eclectic Historic Sunny Vista Home with City Views, Northshore
Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This wonderful home is in the community of Pittsburgh’s best kept secret, historic Fineview. Enjoy magical sunsets and fireworks displays right from the front yard. This home has views of PNC Park and the North Shore It is just minutes to Downtown, AGH, North Shore dining and activities. Easy access to I-279 and the parkway. Get your exercise on the nearby fitness trail, recreation area or explore beautiful Riverview Park.
From the house you will be able to walk out the front door and down the street onto the scenic overlook of the city. The home is in Fineview, a quiet residential neighborhood.
It is close to the local Carnegie library, several pizza/sub shops, and other unique eateries. The house is within driving distance of full-service grocery stores, drug stores, coffee shops, dry cleaners, gas stations, restaurants, bars, and other night life, however, all of these types of establishments are within one or two miles. Unique to the area is the local Bread Works for delicious artistry breads.
The house is close to the Pittsburgh Children's Museum, the Andy Warhol Museum, the Carnegie Science Center, the National Aviary, PNC Park, Acrisure Stadium (Heinz Field), and other Northshore amenities.
There is a wonderful outdoor recreation space at the top of the street. The access is free for everyone to use.
Explore the fitness trail just down the street or the woods at nearby Riverview Park. Created in 1894, the park predates the City of Allegheny’s annexation to the City of Pittsburgh in 1907. Formed largely from farmland, today’s Riverview Park is known for its dense woodlands and steep topography. The park’s extensive network of trails invites hikers, joggers, and the occasional horseback rider into the woods. The park is also home to the landmark Allegheny Observatory, a visitor’s center, a swimming pool and activities building, the natural beauty of the Mairdale watershed, and the popular two-mile Riverview Loop. Residents enjoy the park's pool, playground, ball field, shelters and summertime concerts and movies.
There are an extensive choice of trails to choose from if you like to hike or mountain bike. The terrain is hilly with a wide variety of flora and fauna. The park is rich in wildlife so don't be surprised to see deer, possum, raccoons, turkeys, ground hogs and the occasional fox at night. The wildlife is very docile and are used to being around people. Please remember that although they are gentle, their personal space needs to be respected.

About the host
Hosted by Lisa

I am an entrepreneur, wellness practitioner, educator and board certified holistic health counselor, and radio show host.
Anyone who knows me knows my love of animals. I am involved in animal rescue and currently am mom to chihuahuas, German shepherds, a toy fox terrier, and a lab pit mix. I don't have any idle time to watch much TV and am always on the go. I love to travel and have been to Europe, Asia, South America and Africa. One of these days I will make it to New Zealand and Australia.
I am a positive, outgoing introvert and love the comforts of good friends and other positive people that see the world as a beautiful place to explore. I am always open to what the Universe is bringing in next and welcome the adventure with open arms. I host a weekly radio show Connect 2 Love that airs Saturday at 8 pm on PRN FM. You can also listen to Connect2Love on iHeart, Spotify, Apple podcast, Audible, Podbean and other podcast hosts. I would love to have you join our audience and hear your thoughts on the show..
I love meeting new people and sharing all the unique treasures Pittsburgh has to offer. I am looking forward to connecting with people traveling to Pittsburgh and aim to make each guest feel welcome.
Thanks for checking out my home and I welcome the opportunity to host you soon!
