** As with many urban cities, Albuquerque is experiencing an increase in the un-homed population and on occasion you may see them when drive away from the neighborhood toward Central Ave. The property is in a well established neighborhood with a wide range families who have lived in the area for years, medical staff, professors and UNM Students, and many happy dog walkers who enjoy walking. There is a church close by, as well as a private and public school. Just down the way. Please consider this information when booking so that it does not negativity effect your experience or location review.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Return any furnishings and items to original spots. Don’t worry about making the beds! We will take care of it! Towels can be piled in the bathroom or laundry room.
Please wash any used dishes and kitchen items. You can leave them on the provided drying area on the kitchen counter to dry- no need to put them away. Please dispose of all trash to the outside trash.
Don’t forget to leave the key to the driveway lock on the hook by the front door if you used it! Please close the gate before you drive away. The is a replacement charge of $25 if it is misplaced.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
No smoking, see guest book for all rules and details on smoking areas. Guest could be charged an additional fee of at least $200 for smoke damage.
Quite hours are from 10 pm to 7 am. No parties.

Very clean and comfortable. We loved hanging out in the big backyard. I had a couple of questions and requests that Stephanie responded to right away. The hosts left bottled water and seltzers in the fridge and turned up the a/c for us before we arrived so we would be comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location, in heart of Nob Hill, walking distance to restaurants and nice, safe/quiet/clean/cute neighborhood for walking. House is clean, well appointed, secure, with everything you need to feel comfortable. Great gated parking, nice back patio area with hot tub. Easy access to all of Albuquerque. Comfy beds. Extra towels. All the basic kitchen stuff needed to prepare own meals. Hostess was responsive and left little extras (coffee, condiments, tip book) that made us feel welcome!

Great location in the center of it all

We absolutely cannot say enough good things about Casa Sunshine! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by this beautiful vacation home's incredible charm and comfort. The hot tub was an absolute dream, and we spent many happy hours relaxing and soaking our cares away. After a long day exploring the historic Route 66 and the vibrant Nob Hill area, it was the perfect way to unwind. Speaking of which, the location of Casa Sunshine cannot be beaten. We loved being so close to all the action of Route 66 and the charming, eclectic neighborhood of Nob Hill. There were so many fantastic restaurants, shops, and attractions to explore, and we could easily walk to everything we wanted to see and do. But beyond the location and amenities, the house itself was just perfect. It was beautifully decorated and incredibly cozy, with all the comforts of home and then some. We especially loved the three bedrooms, which gave everyone in our group plenty of space and privacy. All in all, we absolutely adored our stay at Casa Sunshine and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and unforgettable vacation in Albuquerque. Why they chose this property

Casa Sunshine was built in 1940 and has many original features, including kitchen cabinets. The property is completely enclosed with high walls in the back yard and an adobe wall in the front yard. Our 90-foot driveway is also gated and can be locked with a padlock. Enjoy our large backyard and outdoor working kiva wood-burning fireplace, BBQ, rock, and flower gardens. Our guests are treated like family and we do all was can to create an experience that keeps you coming back over and over.
