Avalanche Cabin @ Explorer's Basecamp

Enjoy the perfect Montana getaway in this centrally located townhome that provides easy access to a variety of Flathead Valley adventures and a peaceful place to put your feet up at the end of the day.

Boasting amazing views of the mountains, this three bedroom, two bathroom property sits on nearly two acres on a quiet street away from the hustle and bustle of town. Each bedroom offers a queen bed, and the full kitchen is stocked with everything you need to prepare your meals. Savor your morning coffee and the mountain views on the private patio, which also has a BBQ. COMING MAY 2026: brand new hot tub and expanded patio.

Air conditioning, a washer and dryer, streaming capabilities, and WIFI are included to make your stay as comfortable as possible. While this unit is attached to another one, the adjoining wall is a fire wall, ensuring plenty of peace and quiet.

A large cooler and a couple of cans of bear spray are provided for guest convenience.

Great property for families! Has amazing amenities, the host is very attentive to details of things you need, and great amenities at an amazing location. Plus you have the convenience of being 30 minutes away from Glacier National Park.

This was a wonderful place to stay while exploring GNP. The host really thought of everything! We especially enjoyed the fresh ground coffee for those early mornings and the hot tub after a long day of hiking! Thanks for a great stay!

This was a very clean VRBO and would absolutely stay here again. The hostess was very quick to respond to all questions I had. Beds were very comfortable and the location was good to the west side of GNP. It was very well kept and the hot tub was nice after a day of hiking. You won’t be disappointed! 5 stars!!

We loved that the hot tub was within the proximity of the fire pit, and they supplied the firewood! The unit was very clean. It was close enough to Glacier and the area was nice. The unit was well equipped with kitchen and bathroom supplies and many toiletries. My son left his ear buds and they were kind enough to notify me while we were still in the area and were able to retrieve them, thank you!

Great stay near to west entrance of Glacier NP

Our group of 5 had a very comfortable stay at this location. The house was fully equipped is we wanted to dine in or just get ready for a day of exploring. Perfect for our group of 5 but would accommodate 6.

The house is small but perfect for our family. Everything was clean and very well kept. The location is off the beaten path but we loved it. It’s about 15 minutes from both Kalispell and Columbia Falls, about 35 minutes to the west entrance. Alyssa, the host was great. We had a small problem with a towel rod and she fixed it the next day. She was even working in the yard one day, keeping everything looking very nice The kitchen pantry could be stocked with more items to help with cooking in but It worked for breakfast. The back deck was beautiful and peaceful. The house shares a wall with another house but we never heard anyone on the other side. It has a great yard for running around. The house was well stocked with bear spray, a nice cooler, and camping chairs which made hanging in the park all day perfect. We would definitely stay here again if coming back to GNP.

We loved this town house. It was so nice, clean, and had all the amenities we needed to make our trip extra special. The host thought of everything from personal care products in the bathrooms, coffee in the kitchen, to toys for children. We would definitely stay here again.

Awesome home, close to airport & Glacier

The house was terrific & had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Pictures on listing are 100% accurate! Very clean & great to hang out in. Very close to the airport so no morning rushing or long drive before you depart. Close drive to Glacier & Whitefish. Will def stay again.
