About this property

Wasted Waves is a Pirate themed home to transport you and your traveling companions away from your day-to-day life. Located only 1 mile from the public boat ramp and 3 miles from the public beach access, with Tate's Hell State Forest and Apalachicola National Forest within a short drive as well, or 20 to 30 minutes to St. George Island. You can go on any adventure to make as much or as little of your day as you wish, with a number of free museums in Carrabelle as well.
There are four (4) exterior cameras: one on the front door, one over the rear entrance, and the other two cover the rest of the yard. We do not allow smoking in the house, nor drug use of any kind on the property. The home sleeps 6, so 6 guests is the occupancy limit. Parties are not permitted. Bookings over 21 days will not be accepted.

Pirate Birthday Snapper Trip

Took my son and friends on a snapper trip for his birthday. Let the owners know the reason for our visit and they had a present waiting for him. Great little fishing house. Very clean and convenient to town. I would certainly stay again.

This is a great property, great location. Love the pirate decor. Will stay again. I left a small grill and some charcoal for your next guest; I want their stay to be as good as ours. Thanks again.

Great Stay!

This place has a ton of charm. Michael and Rochell where fantastic hosts. They communicated everything and where quick to respond. Stayed the week before Easter and they hid Easter eggs for the kids and even an egg for us. It had everything we needed for a week stay and some. Great location just inside the small town of Carrabelle next to the state forest. Perfect for peace, quiet and relaxing without the crowds of the "bigger" beaches yet some of the "bigger" beaches are only a half hour away. Loved being in the middle of old Florida with nature, fishing and beaches all within 5 minutes. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.
