We had an awesome stay! The location is quiet and feels isolated but is close enough to town be convenient. The hot tub was great after long days of hiking. Shanna and Paul were a huge help when we had car trouble on our last day. They found a garage that could get our car in the same day!

After camping for a few days in Shenandoah National Park, we came to West Virginia looking to explore New River Gorge, but with a few more modern amenities than a camp site could offer. This cabin was perfect. Remote, but with all the creature comforts one could ask for. Add in the friendly goats on the adjacent property, and it was perfect. Would highly recommend, and will definitely stay there again if in the area.

This peaceful retreat was the perfect place to recharge. I could have easily spent my entire visit reading and relaxing on the deck while enjoying the views. There were so many trails to hike and waterfalls to see though, so we did go out and explore. The hot tub and fire pit were nice extras at the end of a full day.

Great host... very accommodating, if I had to pick 1 complaint (and it's my fault for not wearing shoes) got a splinter in my foot on the deck as it was very weather worn... everything else was great! A little challenging to find but the directions were great! Close proximity to most all attractions. Extremely secluded and quiet! Just what we wanted... we seen alot of deer and goats, even a lizard... Thank you!

Great place to stay. We did a quick National Park weekend getaway and the rental had everything we were looking for. The hot tub in the open area was great and we could see the stars without all the light pollution.

This home is beautiful and the location is very private. Very clean, well decorated, and blends perfectly into its surroundings. Host had great communication and even answered some questions I asked about how they did some of the finishings. We will definitely go back. Excellent getaway.

This is a beautiful piece of property. We had to cancel a couple nights due to other circumstances. But wish we would have been able to stay. When we canceled our 2 nights - the owners were right on it. And refund came in right away. GREAT communication. Wonderful detailed directions to property. One of my favorites is there is not a lot of “stuff” everywhere. So therefore we were able to but our stuff out. Kitchen is equipped with just what you need. I highly recommend staying here. Very peaceful.

This is such a beautiful and idyllic setting. The house was very comfortable and very clean. The kitchen was perhaps the best stocked with cooking supplies of any we have stayed in. As we like to cook, we really appreciated having the right pots, pans, and cooking utensils. We loved our stay and would absolutely stay here again in the future.

Shanna and Paul were excellent hosts. Helping us to sort out how to get the gate lock open (just read all the instructions and you will be fine!) and coming to our aid when needed something. Highly recommend.

This cabin is a perfect retreat. We spent 5 nights here. Quiet peaceful Mountain View’s offered us time to relax. The cabin is very quaint and had everything we needed. It was close to the National Park sites we wanted to see. Our hosts Shanna and Paul were very quick to answering questions and even shared what chemicals they use in the hot tub. We will definitely stay here again if we return to this area. A great stay and we highly recommend it.

We booked this on the last minute for a weekend getaway to New River Gorge. Everything went smoothly and the property was fantastic. Every detail regarding directions was clear and easy to follow. It is behind a locked gate and very secure and no other people are around. Very quiet and great views. The host called us the morning before check-in to see if we had any questions and to verify the directions. The cabin was very well furnished and very clean!! Overall, this is a 10 out of 10
